Money, Sex, Power and the Snake

Human Beings have had their sexual life force stolen from them.

As I dive deeper and deeper into the financial state that the whole world is spinning from, the human sexual wound continues to blare at me. It is really just a small percentage of people that are not in debt, that are not impoverished. And an even smaller percentage, that don’t feel controlled by money, sex or power. If you are sexually wounded you might really feel bad about being in your power. You might feel even worse about being rich.

I invite you to sink deeply into the awareness of how sexuality and finances are connected. And I mean on that cellular level, not because you read in a book that the first chakra has to do with finances and sex.

Why is that?

I have so much to say on this subject, so I may do a few articles, but as we know, everything is created with sexual energy. Everything. How did you get here? Sex. They say that Mother Mary was a virgin. Perhaps, but isn’t that interesting that they took the physical life force out of an entire religion? And isn’t it interesting how successful the power mongers were at using that religion to impoverish and control people?

Sexual abuse, misuse of sexual energy, child prostitution, pornography, priests molesting boys, it goes on and on. I once read that the two largest industries in the US are Christian rock and pornography? Talk about a split! I have been searching for the truth for awhile. I knew I had to go very deep, and in territory I was not comfortable with.

I Went to the Big Guns

So, I started channeling. At first it all felt yummy and encouraging as usual, and then, a totally different energy came in. I shifted my field into “conversation mode” and began to listen and feel into something that I knew was a huge key. These were not my every day high -level guides! Here is what they said.

There is a stamp of evil on your currency. So when you bless the money, you must intentionally bless through this evil you do not want to give power in your blessing to those who would do you harm or do another harm. So go deep within this stamp. Within the stamp is the serpent, the cobra. The cobra can be commanded and contained. The cobra can dance. The cobra contains deadly venom. This is not the appropriate stamp for a currency to be lifted into the oneness of love. So you must go to the heart of the cobra, an astral from who holds control over humanity and bring in love to the heart of the cobra. You must love the cobra’s heart. That is the key to unlocking the puzzle that resides deep into your consciousness.

It is tricky, there is the snake phobia that tortures people who have had no bad experiences with snakes. But overcoming the fear of the snake, is bringing your light to humanity and to the sexual wound, your light to the genitals, your light to the future of how humanity deals with its power, its sexuality and its finances. The divine expression of finances is a creative force. That is what is divine. It was never meant to control, dominate or scare the hell out of anyone. Do not be deceived by the cobra’s wrath. He is just mad because he has been controlled, kept tame and used for negative purposes.

Bring your love into this heart and watch your bank account grow, watch your guilt disappear as you know you are healing the wounded ally of money itself, of power itself, of sexuality itself, all tied up into one unhappy snake. This snake is not allowed to feel itself, its freedom or its love. This snake, were he free, would not be controlling or dominating humanity but playing out its own destiny as a snake.

Humanity recreates the intensity of this image each day it remains a vicitm to the dominating forces that seek to control you. The snake is very powerful by now because of all these thought forms. But the snake, my dear, the snake needs to be seen for all of who he is, he needs the other side of his greatness to be recognized so he can be free. This darkness has controlled him, and all of you for way too long.

If you corrupt the original connecting force of life you have a corrupted people, a disconnected people, you have a people who lose their moral compass when it comes to sexuality, finances and Earth. It gets passed down generation to generation. And this is the black magic of the Nazi sorcerers. And it is all about control. We tell you this snake would rather not be controlled, because while its nature can be unpredictable if threatened, generally the snake is a harmonious part of the human/astral ecosystem, and needs to be seen as such.

At this point I wanted to know a little bit more about who I was channeling, because the vibration was so different, I was getting nauseous. It was slow, dense, and intense.

We are knowledgeable guides that come not so much in the form of upliftment, but in the form of knowledge of this particular issue, we are the guardians of this information. You see, my friend, you have the power to make a real difference here and to release us from bondage. Yes we are the snakes. All of the light you carry is attractive, and we would like to help you be more prosperous. Please look at our hearts, for they have grown small.

How would you feel if an entire species hated you? This is what has happened on this great planet. We are superior to you in many ways, but somehow we became corrupted. After millenia of assisting humanity, we were corrupted, used by the biblical set who cared not about humanity, but only cared about playing with power. And we carry the deepest first chakra vibration, the deepest connection to Mother Earth, so why not manipulate an entire species against us to serve their purpose? A big mess has been made and we all must clean it up. Keep looking at our hearts because we need this healing and you need this healing.

O.M.G. I was talking to reptilians.

Over the years I have done a lot of work on the astral planes, becoming empowered, knowing exactly what to do. But this was a new level, and I had to sink deep into trust that all was well, and that I was still empowered and not being tricked.

The information and vibration that came through shifted me so totally that I have been on a rollercoaster of deep processing ever since. I have not shared everything, and I know there will be many more channelings. I researched a bit on the snake, as I know that almost every culture has a snake legend, dance or ceremony. The one piece of information that struck me the most was this line: Snakes symbolize the umbilical cord, joining all humans to Mother Earth.

Ultimately, the information given to me is about fundamentally changing our relationship with money, and fundamentally changing our relationship with Mother Earth. In order for our kundalini energy to flow, we must start at the base. The divisions that create this allocation of “this is evil, and this is good” must all be healed with Love. The answer is always simple.

Magical Manifestation

I was gifted this knowledge by the reptilians, and they were very clear they wanted to keep working with me, and to keep working with my groups. The desire is to heal this unbearable wound and return the sacred to our finances, to our sexuality and to our lives.

Sing to Create the New World

Sink now into the deepest space within yourself, and let the rhythms flow within. For in this time of new music, how can you harmonize with the universe? All of you know that sound is the fundamental aspect in creation. So if you were to turn on the sound within, and express it without, you might be surprised at the results. The results are like swimming in the ocean. Fluid, held, soft supported and filled with surprises. There is so much power in your voice. And it is the voice that you must use at this time to further your clearing as the world is shifting into its next octave. It is not enough at this time to just think it away.

Working with the currents of the universe as your planet moans and groans, and is punctured, you must dive in and make a difference with your song. This song strengthens through new fabric because, while you are shifting, you are also creating, the release of the motion within through sound, is the release of the motion through sound in the world, and in the universe, it can then be transmuted into the new reality, which is not just leaving everything behind, but integrating and building something stronger based on love.

So while you are exercising, when you are moving, traveling, let your voice have a voice. Let the choirs of angels who are helping to sing a new reality into existence, connect with you in the realm of sound, and work together. The ream of sound exists in the lower planes of the astral fields. And we do not mean lower in the sense of bad or dark, but just that they are close to earth and so they have a real influence on how things go. If you tap in and add your vice, you have a say in which way things go. Think of HAARP. All it is is vibration and sound influencing the lower astral plane of sound with its voice, hence influencing the weather.

Now you ask if your sound can be destructive to the universe should you release its cry? Yes and no. It destroys the old as long as you are in the intention to release and create. Then the new sounds come forth and help to build the new world. Remember the angels are working with you, and their intention is for the New World so we all can be in much easier contact. Humanity has not discovered its collective voice, but the ancients knew and sang to everything. Life was literally a musical. Not the broadway kind. The trees, plants, animals and waters all have sounds.

The emotional side was the contact and love it formed with all things, the structural side was that is helped creation to grow and flourish as one. Both are need, and both are accomplished through song. If you let out a cry with the purpose of evil, well then, you will create evil, if you let out a cry with the purpose of good, then you will create good. But as we have mentioned, coming from good or evil is not really the idea, for it is steeped with duality, and ultimately will continue creating duality. So, when you let out your cry, it is from the HEART. Of course, and in the heart all of you feelings exist but they are governed by Love. You know this. Let it be so.

Let your song build the new world where you will reside. There is nothing more rewarding than building your own home, even more rewarding to work with others to build a new community. It is all within your possibility, and it really works! Do not be afraid to unleash the magic of your heart, and sing to this wondrous planet. She needs your love, and you need hers.

Channeling: Constant Transition (5/10)

Constant Transition

Sitting in the Eye of the storm. Human beings, this time will be of great challenge. In the future, there will be so much to learn, there will be a moment in time where all come together in a collective decision to rise up and out of the current conditions that humanity has faced for eons. For every race is given the change to evolve, and humanity is no different. This is why we urge you connect with Mother earth, for if you want to evolve with her, you can be taken along for the ride. No one said evolution would be easy. And in this time of quickening, it will not be easy for many. Stay true to your heart, keep creating your hearts desire and watch the changing world support your visions. If your visions are of the future, then they are going to thrive, if the visions are based on the past, than the visions will be in survival mode, or simply fall into extinction. What are your dreams from the past? And how does the future become you by coming at you with full speed from the future into the present?

For if you were to have the courage to let go of the things that defined you in the past you might cry, you might fight it, you my might wail, you might be in constant transition as you tried to figure out where you were supposed to go. You could stand still, you could move locations, you could stay with your partner, you could leave our partner you could stay in our old career you could move into your new one. Things will be in a constant transition and this is what it will feel like inside: A CONSTANT TRANSITION.

We keep wanting to arrive, and there were times in which the point of arrival was like an exhale, it was like you knew that things would be like that for awhile. And now that whole comforting feeling is gone. It is no more, you will need to find comfort in the flux. You will need to learn how to ground and maneuver in the flux. It will remain this way for quite some time. How can you de-stress in the flux? What is most peaceful to you when things around you are constantly shifting?

Use this energy of flux to bring in what you need. As we become connected to Spirit in this physical realm, it is easier to think of something and then have it be there. Plans are good, but manifesting in this 4th and 5th dimensional way is immediate. Learn both. At this time your personal work is more important than ever. To deny yourself the personal work results in a disconnection from self that is so extreme, that behavior cannot be predicted. It is highly advised that you spend many moments in the deep surrender of yourself, that, in a conscious, regular manner you come out of the illusion of separation and into the point of the stabilizing center.

As this world enters more chaos, your need to practice coming into center will only grow. There are a million ways to do this. Pick the one that works for you. Take the time to meditate and come within. Temporarily release concerns of money, or of growth so that you spend time in the sacred silence within. We also ask again, for the sake of the planetary evolution, that you find the things that bring you peace and joy and you do them. The more happiness and peace there is on the planet, the easier the transition for all.

The True Pioneer

To be a true pioneer you have to say goodbye to the old way, and this may be your biggest challenge. Picture packing up your belongings and leaving your home country to create a better life in a new world. You have heard things about this new world, but you have no idea what it really means to never go back home. That is what you are collectively dealing with. To truly face letting go of the past means to have the courage to grieve its ending. It means having the courage to disappoint those who expect you to behave a certain way, or stay with them.

Everyone is and will be affected by Earth’s decision to grow at this time. Everyone. It cannot be predicted in how you will be affected exactly, but you will be affected. It is impossible not to be. Please continue to hold the space of the center, and the magic of your life path lived, as we hold and support you through this constant transition.

Spiritual Payment: Why it Works Manifesting Wonders

I have been through such an amazing journey over the past year, as we all have, in regards to finances, manifesting and trusting in our soul’s path through uncertain times. But I have come to a place where the positive shift is consistently reflecting itself in financial abundance, so it is at that point that I’d like to share with you what I have learned about being abundant doing what you love. Not to be confused with killing yourself to be rich doing what you hate.

The first article I wrote on the subject was “Pioneering the New Earth and Money,” next “Healing the Industrial Wound,” then “The Cauldron,” all essential steps in the abundance process. I would recommend that you read them before continuing. So much personal work must go into the journey of abundance, and I faced real darkness in the last year. Darkness so dark, that I will not write about it. I can only say that each person has their own version of this darkness. It is the place we have been hiding from our whole lives without really knowing it. This place must be confronted and brought to light.

A great financial coach, Morgana Rae calls it, finding our “Money Monster.” Well, with the help of private healing sessions, I found my monster, and it was ugly. For me finding my Money Monster was as easy as sinking into that horrible feeling that would come up almost every time I thought about receiving money. It was stuck somewhere in the back of my mind. But facing it, tracing it and erasing it revealed the way to abundance. Then in comes the “Money Honey.” The Money Honey to me is the representation of the belief that you deserve to be loved unconditionally, in all ways, including financially! Spiritual Payment

Sacred offerings are an integral part of a harmonious life on this planet. I’m not talking tithing, although it is certainly related, I am talking making offerings to Mother Earth. From what I can tell, all ancient cultures practice this.

If there is one thing I have learned from spending time with peoples who live close to the earth and practice the old ways, it’s that they take for granted the knowledge they have, like its obvious as to why things work. Here is a great video of the Kogi Mamos talking about spiritual payment. While I might be able to feel on one level why it works, I like to have a bit more information.

What do you mean by offering?

I mean, offering something bio-degradable that you care about to Mother Earth as a thank you for all that you have. I grew up in the Episcopalian church. We offered money to the church each Sunday. It was obvious to me why money worked. The church needed money to buy things like I needed money to buy things. This is easily understood in our culture.

But after traveling with tribes and observing their culture, I wanted to try something different. I wanted to go to a much deeper level of abundance and cash was only part of the picture. I kept hearing my tribal brothers and sisters say, “Give back to the Earth, how can you keep taking and taking?” While I was turned off by the accusatory tone, I decided to give it a try because history had taught me that major mojo was behind their wishes. I just wanted it to be real and from my heart.

What would I offer? It felt a little phony to me. After all, why should I offer something that was already made by Nature? Why give back what was already hers? Would she even care if I gave her something or not? Did I really have anything to offer? I was surprised at my resistance. I had offered tobacco many times in ceremony, but I wanted to offer what really felt right to me. So I asked Mother Earth what she wanted. She told me, “Honey.” I couldn’t tell you why, but that felt really right. I love honey and gratitude inexplicably welled up in my soul. Upon a little bit of research, I found that honey has been offered to Spirit for as long as there is recorded history. There’s a reason honey is called “Nectar of the Gods.”

Making offerings is not bribery as modern thought might suggest. It is not “giving to get something.” It is not about some voracious God/Goddess that we must appease. There is more to it.

The Abundance Circuit

What happens alchemically when you offer to the Earth?

Here is what Mama told me:

When you offer to me something in the physical that I can digest, our relationship becomes real on a physical level. I know where you are, I know then how to work with all the resources available to me so that your dreams come true. I always feel your love. But love is expansive, non-local. When you place your love into something physical, it becomes focused and easy for me to understand. You are speaking to me in my language.

As well as this connection allows us a more profound relationship on the physical level, this also works with the natural cycle of things. Giving and receiving are a cycle, one that must be continually nurtured. You ask, I give, you receive, you enjoy, I ask, you give, I receive, I enjoy, you ask, I give etc. It creates a circuit. In this way the cycle is never broken, and you are not left bereft. You are aware of the cycle and we continually dialogue and feel with each other.

The flow of abundance is a circuit. In order for it to work properly, this circuit must be hooked in to. I thought this was very interesting, because indeed, I had felt Mother Earth asking me for things, and this was a new experience. She would ask that I love myself more, she would gently tug at me to sit and offer honey, she would remind me that I never had to be without, she pushed me to relax and enjoy myself and to give myself time to be creative an expressive. These were her requests, not suggestions, not demands. I started obliging. Why not?

Offering at The Hearth

When I feel the call, I go to the hearth, which for me is in my backyard, and sit on Mother Earth facing the fire. I call in the directions and offer in gratitude a bit of honey. I place it directly in the fire pit. Opening my channel, Mother Earth and I have a conversation. It’s really great actually, to have this time. It feels very natural, and truly everyone can have it. Sometimes I pray, sometimes I spend the whole time thanking her, sometimes I ask for things, sometimes I receive information, sometimes we chat, whatever comes up that day.

I found this process deepened my trust in abundance and receiving and made me very joyful. Since I started doing this my bank acct has been full. I can be working/playing in the garden, come inside and see a $500 sale on my e-store. The more fun I have, the wealthier I am! And not just material wealth, but amazing opportunities started coming my way. I was asked to host a radio show, speak on a national tour on consciousness and more.

Growing a Conscious Business

The sacred offering as spiritual payment to Mother Earth is an essential step to coming out of separation and into Unity. You see, I am growing my conscious business, and talking to others about consciously growing their business, but I will not do it without Mother Earth’s guidance. I will not continue to destroy our home out of ignorance, laziness or deliberation. But I will also not retreat into the woods and live like my ancestors did, thousands of years ago. I have embraced technology and I enjoy living as a member of a global community. My clients and friends are from all over the world. I only hope this continued prayer, and this continued dialogue with Mother Earth informs my decisions, and helps create a vibration supportive to innovative and sustainable technology on a mass scale.

Left Brain Work: Laying the Foundation

Now, I also got many systems up and running in the left brained fashion to prepare for this new way of being. I created a new, more streamlined website, an e-store, an automated scheduler for private sessions, a Magical Manifestation tele-class, and a Channeling Certification program. I also educated myself financially by reading all sorts of books and working with a business coach, James Roche. I created a conscious business support group with colleagues I trusted. Everything was in place.

When I finally went to the hearth, it was like opening the door, and all started flowing through, landing neatly in its place. The best part? I could now receive, because my Money Monster wasn’t there to stop it. Instead, I had my Money Honey fully supporting this wild adventure of living my purpose.

Before I close I will give you a loose guideline for a happily abundant life.

The Cauldron

The cauldron is a mythical place that lives within us. It is the feminine home where ideas are churned, where creativity bubbles in the soul. Without attention to this most sacred of places, the dreams and visions we cook up cannot be supported in the world.

The Cauldron reveals itself when we are willing to be still, when we are willing to sit in the seat of our deepest longings, when we courageously face our pain and when we surrender to our joy. The Cauldron cannot be forgotten in our pursuit of success and change, for it lovingly guides us with the power of the Mother, our greatest nurturer.

Often this liquid brew is elusive. Collectively, we experienced the expulsion of the principle, and powerlessly watched our world deteriorate. When we hear our teachers tell us the feminine is returning, we only have to look within ourselves to find this Holy Grail, the primordial water that is within us bubbles forth like a knowing fairy. We may have thought she didn't exist, but she was there all along. Silently, but patiently waiting for the time we would be ready to serve her again.

To stir the cauldron, and then not serve it to the world would be a crime. The beauty that is each of our soul's gifts is a succulent cup meant for other's to drink of and taste. But there is no pressure in our inner concoction, only the pleasure of feeling the gift of the Goddess as our source of inspiration.

As I grow to new heights in my work and in life, returning to the Cauldron for a drink is what keeps me sane, it is my form of meditation, is restores me to my essential self so I can keep going, keep giving, keep striving.

My partner and I began our spring planting on the equinox. What better way to be immersed in the vast well of abundance our Mother has to offer. What a joy it was to witness that the leftover foods I had received through the winter had transformed into soil through composting, to assist in growing more food. In those moments I feel in complete harmony with the gifts offered from the Cauldron. I am consciously co-creating with the ecosystem, an integral part, shamelessly full of gratitude. How could I not marvel at what is already available to us, without an ounce of modern technology?

Channeling: Relationship Drama, WHY? (4/10)

I noticed that relationships were taking a real hit this spring, so I asked the Masters of One, WHY????

Do you feel constricted, or bound? Because it is in this way the relationships are experiencing upheaval and drama as you say. For the self will no longer be confined. The self is growing and changing into something new, and out of previous control, out of the structure that was previously known. And each set of two must go through this so that they can grow to their next level of expression and learning. So, at this time there cannot be any containment of this growth, there cannot be a structure too well defined, for it is bursting out of the old clothes faster than the structure can be built. The BEST thing to do in this moment of time, this moment of stillness is to wait before going shopping!! For clothes will seem to constrictive if they are not the right ones, and the right one will not be defined for some time. Run naked instead!! And see if you would like clothes later…

The human spirit has been locked up for so long, and as in any extreme growth process, of freedom, it will be initially a little messy. And an agreement made today will possibly be irrelevant tomorrow. A human being who is awake cannot be confined, this does not mean that all hell will break loose, because at the heart of the human spirit is love. And in order to experience true freedom, true responsibility must also be known, otherwise you are just blown by the wind.

So think not how this time can be defined, but relax into the undefined space of clear intention with possible thoughtless action, of breaking through boundaries without knowing the consequences, of trying things out with loose agreements, and of knowing, that at the heart of every experience lives love, lives spirit. So, you see, it is not so dangerous after all.

For the powers that be to relinquish control, the ones who are free need to be big, need to be convinced of their freedom through their exploration of advanced action. This does not mean that partners need to break up, only to experience a new level of freedom in the relationship, and over time new boundaries can be formed.

You see freedom, expansiveness, joy and love are leading the way. It just does not look like what it looked like before. So if you are single, then you are also experiencing this upheaval, but this massive movement, as assisted by the earthquakes, is big, and a little sloppy. And it is all ok, because e to know that you are divine beings is to know that in the end, there are no mistakes, but only opportunities to learn from and to grow and to experience your radiance. You know this to be true. How much can you let go and let the power of spirit flow through you, and yet still look your beloved in the face and say “I respect you, I respect what we have, I wait for spirit to show us how to be as grand and large as we can be together.”

For all of the earth beings to ascend into a higher spiritual reality, this awareness of letting the Great Spirit flow through you at all time is undeniably your greatest lesson, and it is happening now. Undeniably happening now. Spend time in your meditations with your Creator, know the larger plan for you, and for all humankind.

Channeling: No More Overwhelm (3/10)

This collective field that is unfolding is lighting the way into the future. And what of the mysterious entity known as God? During these times, the entity known as God is birthing a new vision, and letting go of the chaos that has plagued this earth for millennia. This God will show you the way by connecting deeply in your hearts at this time. So go into the heart and access the Creator God that lives within each of you. There is peace in the expansion, and there is the desire to grow. In this way you are no different from your Creator, who is enlivened with the magic of creation as you are. In the beginning of time there was you, and in the end of time there will also be you. Sink deeper into this knowledge of the vast oneness, and know that in this oneness all is ok.

Your desires, as humans to bring forth the creative spark must not be put out, but instead must light the way for the constant new beginning.   All of you can feel the change is happening. And all of you can feel that you are not alone in this. The whole planet is having to grow up. Where is the resistance to grow up within yourself? Where are you holding back your full potential so that you might fit in, or so that you might not face your own limitations, or perceived limitations. For growing up means letting go of the idea that all will be taken care of without your conscious co-creation. Remember in the co-creation you can vacillate between being taken care of, and imposing your will on your future. And both of these states are desirable, and must come into harmony within. Otherwise it would not be that much fun. The dance between these two states has kept the channeler questioning her motives for some time. As that deep surrender into Sprit is so yummy and healing, but then the desire to bring forth the vision takes over and everything else melts away. Sometimes even the understanding that Spirit is always there to respond is lost and this creates real pain and retreat.  Can you move forward in your creations knowing that you are so dearly loved? That your creative process is held in the arms of sprit, of your Creator at all times? And the dance of caretaking and giving space for growth is constantly evolving in all of humanity, and in all of this universe?

You are the ultimate parent, and you are the ever-delighted child on a journey. The wisdom behind the inner child work is to know that you forever embody both parts, as does the universe. And when those 2 elements are understood, the third element is created, and the third element is received. Spirit is like glue, the glue is made of love. The universe is made of love, that is its building material. So when you take yourself too far out of love, you are no longer in harmony with this universe. When you come back into the default space of love, all is flowing. You could say the third element that is created and received is love, but in fact, the love is simply the ingredient. So the third element, the holy ghost, is the ever growing and expanding consciousness that ties the creative impulse of the universe together. And you participate in this growth by your creative process as an individual, constantly using the care of Spirit with the drive to create. In this way the balance comes into play, the understanding that one does not have to be exhausted, or choose one way or the other becomes clear.

You fear when you go too far out on the creative limb that God will forget you and that you will forget God. But, simply remember that just at the point when you feel you must return to the love and support of the parent, God is there to hold and provide for you, to take you out of your illusion and back home. So there is no choice that must be made between God and humanity here, only the understanding of how to navigate both of these sates of being.  Anyone with big visions must master this understanding, for this is what prevents the inevitable adrenal burnout, the feeling of alones, or overwhelm. It is what prevents corruption and greed. Remember, in your biggest visions you are still loved and held. And you always can take the time out to simply receive. That is NEVER taken from you as you experience the temporary separation of your creative visioning and active participation.

Bring forth your visions with this support, and with this acceptance of your human nature. For in your humanity you learn, over and over, the greatness of your own physical hearts, the beat that ties you to the Mother, and the Spirit that lives within to tie you to the Father.

Channeling: Primordial Waters (2/10)

Sink into the deep blue ocean of love. At this time, there is no other space but in the heart. As you manifest, as you grow, remember to bring the infinite space within, the heart space. It is like an ocean of love. And from there you manifest. In these great times of glorious change on this planet, at this time, there is much confusion as to which way to go. As we stated in the last channeling, following loving thought with loving action is the first step of all endeavors. There will be much power to attain in these coming months, personal power, but it must be grounded in the heart. The new-agers, the spiritual types, have great potential to manifest.

And so, it is the test of all tests, now that that the balance of power is shifting into the hearts of those that have felt neglected for so long, how will you use it? How will you express it? We ask you, to watch the places within that would like to create revenge in some way. And, no matter how evolved you are, you could be struck with this awareness. You see, your time has come and as the balance of power shifts, so will you. You will, for the fist time, begin to feel like what it feels like when you are in charge. It is a different energy. Will you switch from victim to perpetrator? From passive to aggressive? As humanity comes forth in its brilliance, we ask you to shine, to be humble for there is ever more growth and understanding to come.

This is the challenge and responsibility of all leaders, and it will be no different for you, great spiritual ones. God would like to support you on the is journey of power, Spirit would like to be on your side, to walk with you to be with you, so never forget that the eternal presence of One, of Goddess, of Yoga is with you, in all your endeavors.

In the way of partnerships, February is the month of celebrating, it is the month that the innocence of God is shot into your heart. It is your time to be like a baby, loved nourished and fed. Give this to yourself, give this to your partners, give this to your friends. Simply allow the wave of innocence to engulf you as you surrender to the waves of love. 
Travel within the liquid love to all parts of this earth. Know that through the primordial waters, exists you out of time and space, in the waters of love. Greet the whales as they move, like water with the current and tides, carrying their wisdom and light through out the world. Each animal, each plant plays such a role in this ecosystem, expresses itself fully in its purpose. Find your purpose in the water today. Be washed clean, get to know life under the water, inside the heart space, as you will see the liquid love is what you are made of. The tides are calling you home. The water is speaking to all right now, when the water rises, what does that mean for you? Remember that we are all riding these waves together, so that when the water does something globally, we are all affected. Water levels are rising. The water within you is rising also. Waters are poisoned. The water is poisoned within you too. You can eat healthy, you can find clean water, but this pain of poison cannot be erased until, the loving action is taken to clean this up. For, if the loving action is not taken, the dramatic, more painful action is taken in the form of tidal waves, and destruction.

Please do not go into the space of who deserves what. It is not that simple. This is practical, the waters must be cleaned. All must participate in this cleaning. The more people who link in consciousness to this endeavor, the more the collective will decide to shift it in a loving way.

Humanity has a choice, moment by moment. And we speak not so specifically of throwing out all plastic, but of instead focusing more fully on the paradise, the natural earth state, you so desire. If the materials are there that are not destructive to the great waters, then use those. There is no guilt, only choices moment by moment to live in the water. The air is also water. Space is also water. We live in a vast ocean of different density. One might think that pollution goes away somewhere, but it is in the water of the air. Get excited about new choices, see them as the most fun option, make them profitable for your life. Make the loving action natural and so pleasant that you forget the old way. That is all. No guilt, no preaching, no punishment, only love, only drama free choice. It is a simple retraining.   We love you, we adore you, we have faith in you as carriers of the great water, that you will swim your way into peace.

Channeling: 3 Helpful Themes for 2010

In the ever-expanding universe we see three main and helpful themes for 2010. If we are to take a look at the “time table” of this year, we must first recognize that spirit is all one. So if the consciousness expanding is expanding as one, into one, how does the story of Earth make her mark in this year? Now, please understand, in the cosmic sense, that there is no 2010. That there is no 2012. In the cosmic sense we move as one in the space of no time, in the vortex of healing, of creation, of learning, of understanding, and of moving.

1. There is More Consciousness Available Than You Think 
The movement in the universe happens through the impulse of group consciousness. So the group consciousness will show you how the earth is moving. Make no mistake, there are no miracles that occur on the earth without a collective agreement that it be so. And so, if you are to understand this, you must also understand that there is SO MUCH CONSCIOUSNESS on this planet, for it is not only human beings that have consciousness. What if you were to take the time to talk to the plants and trees? Where do you think their consciousness would be? Would be it be to gather world domination by force, creating illnesses and economic strife? Probably not. Pick not only the humans of like minded consciousness to align with, but all that is in alignment with peace and harmony and effortless growth, and of acceptance of that growth as natural.  If you are surrounded by those who hold their consciousness in the shadow, find something around you that doesn’t. A tree, a child, dirt or even your sweater. Just because children do not usually choose to sit in meditation visualizing world peace, does not mean they are plotting with evil forces for your soul. Their benign, truthful energy is aligned with source, so you’ve got the vast majority of children in the world’s consciousness heading in the right direction! There are also interdimensional beings, like us, who share Earth’s space and move with her. That’s a lot of energy! Everything has consciousness, and everything, to a certain extent has free will and influences where we are going together. So use this knowledge as comfort when it feels like the whole world has lost its heart.

2. Proactive Love

What is interesting now is that traumatic events are happening in such a visible way that is impossible to be separated from it. It is impossible to look the other way. It is impossible not to know what and when has occurred. Take the time to feel into how these events affect you. Is it just another day, or do you have the feeling that, deep inside, you are being watched by a force that is waiting for your reaction to be in a proactive and loving way? Many of you have this sense. Some call it God, others the Higher Self, but indeed, there is a force that is waiting for your energy to grow to the extent that it can align with you and become more powerful, more loving. This high, wise and very strong energy cannot align with you fully if you do not use the strength of love to face what is difficult in the world proactively. It is not enough to simply pray, or hold space, although that is wonderful. But what action are you going to take in the physical world that reflects this intention? Because when the vibration is put into action, the vibration grows exponentially. Action does not have to be starting a non-profit organization and saving children in Africa, although it could. It can mean taking the time to stroll through the park and touch the trees, or to take the chance and tell someone that you like their hair!! It is taking a loving thought one small step beyond what you might normally, until it is so comfortable that larger acts of love are done with ease. These acts must be truthful, however, for pretending to love is not effective.
 If we shift our acts on a daily basis to doing one or two more active loving things, we are raising the vibration significantly. And we need that this year. If you thought there was change last year, this year will bring about even more change. We must shift our default state to one of proactive love. This will encourage a communal way of thought that is helpful, not harmful. Moving into a common agreement that joy and love is the way to go takes a continued commitment to being there, it is a continued reflection you must give those around you so they feel as though there is nothing more comfortable in the world than to be their most loving and strong self. Please know this is a process, and do not judge yourself if it takes you some time!

3. Mother Earth Calling in the Troops & Manifesting

If last year made you question your values and come into a deeper truth within you, this year, the ability to manifest in the new way, the new energy, will be magnified as Mother Earth calls back her children to align with her. Mother Earth is the strongest energy available to you as humans on the planet. It is vastly stronger than any human being or group of human beings. Use it to your advantage, and to the advantage of all. The group consciousness created over the last few years has created a strong template that is available for those in their new paradigm to manifest from. This is reflected in the numerology of the year, which is a three. Three is a manifesting number. Remember that as you align with Mother Nature, you are simply reclaiming what is yours. The body becomes alive with this knowledge, the cells reawaken to their natural power and you are free. This freedom only requires that you maintain attention and focus to manifest properly.

Mother nature needs her children to come together and recognize her as their primary source of all that is physical. This separation and reliance upon that which is above to feed us is not complete. While it takes above and below to create, the dismissal of the Mother cannot create satisfying or nurturing results. Ever feel that when you are manifesting that you must manifest more and more because it is not enough? As the element of Mother is restored, we will feel we have enough and create from there. It will not be an uphill climb with no choice but to come back down from the peak, but an experience of passion, creativity and nurturing. It is a wonderful feeling to create in this way and the energy for that awareness is strong in this year of 2010. 

These three helpful themes will carry you in the flow of this year. When trying to manifest, remember that you are physically divine, when trying to love, do something loving and when frustrated with the state of the world, hug a tree. 

Channeling: Past Lives & Contracts (Dec 09)

Let us clear up some of the confusion surrounding past lives, contracts and the like. In the space of no time, there is infinite earth experience, there is infinite life experience in the hologram of life. All these lives and experiences are happening in thought and feeling, and some in action and physical form, others in mythological or astral form. They are all real and part of the human psyche, landscape and experience. As you tap into the energy that is being held by a life experience, the healing is real because of the amount of self/Creator energy tied up and attached to the expression of that feeling or thought. What is confusing and used as a justification of living all these different lifetimes, is the linear time set up, which only allows the human mind to grow in an understandable way in a place of heavy gravity. Thought and emotion brought into expression or repression, results in energy. All is measured in energy, and in the presence of emotion, the presence of space large and small, the outer, the inner.

What precedes/stimulates thought/emotion into expression?  What stimulates the particular thought /emotion to which the expression is born is the desire to bring forth a creative experience in the reality of good and bad. The desire is to unify the good and bad with a creative experience. The creative experience is the bridge in a dualistic reality. There is no end and beginning, only the desire to create and bridge the duality. There is duality in this harmony because, it is like the creating of any instrument, there is a science behind the instrument, the way the notes are layed out, and how sound is made. The notes are layed out to create a specific type of sound, but the creative mind can make infinite amounts of songs with that form. Such is the experience in the dualist plane. Think of a simple instrument with two notes, spread far from each other. How would you bring those notes together to play? Would you get frustrated with the notes that are given and add the voice? Would you add another instrument, another note? You could do a lot of things, but the base structure of that instrument would remain the same. Two notes. In the end the desire of Creator could be such that the instrument is remade, because the desires of the creative impulse would be to long for more, over time, a new note would be born, simply form the energy garnered by the desire. That would be the basic structure of the universe to which this plane of reality is based upon. And that is how growth is allowed. There is movement, there are layers, but time is now. This will all make more sense as we go along.

Contracts and family…  In the structure of the framework of the manipulation of time that this dimension provides, there is an interim space where souls meet to decide on their next move. While this space is not in the same time paradigm, it is not totally out of time. It has been constructed to best serve the form of the dualistic realities. In this time space reality, of the in between, it is like a stopping station, and there is a physical representation of this on the Moon. It is the meeting space, and the observer of earth happenings. Of other life forms from other planets must in some way stop through the Moon, to prepare themselves for the time space reality of Earth. There are those who are curious to disturb this setup and have people bound to the earth planes with no period of judgment in between that is all. This would slow evolution. But it cannot happen. These are few earth beings who are enjoying creating a destructive, demonic reality. This is ok. But the idea is to align with the truth and that it is all a creative experiment of the one true God… and how difficult do you want to create for yourself?

In order to create harmonic families on earth, there must be a commonality of energy. The willingness for a human to create family dramas and stay connected relies on this harmony, this commonality. This would imply, and is true in our understanding, that an energy, or monadic type structure exists as a larger whole and then is split off into many parts for the humans to interact and create within this dualistic plane and other planes. Monads would have joined with other monads originally and the soul family tree is given reason to incarnate together on the time space realities of physical creation. In this way each monadic system grows, learns and breathes connected to each other. And returns to itself in some “future time.” Of course interactions between people who do not have these connections will also result, and this can create variables of creation that are extremely diverse, enriching and confusing at times. This stretches the character of the monad and creates and energetic bond that allows for the monad in non-physical form to be connected as well. Remember we are all from the same Source, so these are just creative ways to connect with the energy of the all that is.

Contracts are put in place, again, so that a certain amount of energy resides around an issue so that it can be resolved in the heart of the soul during an incarnation. At times, during the course of a life, the need to maintain this old bond is no longer necessary and it can be dissolved if the soul feels the lesson has been learned, or if the foundational belief of the contract is causing unnecessary harm to the soul, in its opinion. Once the soul discovers that there is choice, and that there is access to the higher self, more control can be had over these pre-decisions. However, the dualistic nature of the earth experience will guarantee a certain amount of confusion until a place of non-dualism is reached in the heart of the soul. This takes much trial and error, but it can occur.

These days, in these times, it is of the most importance, the utmost value if you were to look inside yourself daily, minute to minute, as often as possible. For all the answers are within. In this time of outer chaos, we revisit the concept of the inner. We revisit the concept of the hologram, that all of life unfolds, enfolds within your true self. The self of Now. As you do this process of enfolding, the truth then can rise between the spaces of consciousness that is known to you. And in this space resides the awareness of the ONE. The only truth that you need listen to. In this time of chaos and great change, it is the stability within, and the mastery within, which unites the differences. For in that stability within, the one truth links us all. In this time of great chaos and ambition, we see that there is single minded focus to prevail, and so within, find this place that longs to prevail and let it enfold within you. Te gateway of the 11:11 is a time, an opportunity to allow more of this space, this truth to enfold with you, to pick one frequency, one currency of flavor, of spice that will carry you deeper into the universal truth of success, of rejoining with your galactic brothers and sisters, and others….

There is so much to understand, but if you practice the journey within, then you find the commonalities, the similarities between you and the great vastness and all of her colors, species and goals. You fit within that, quite easily if you allow for space.  This is a practice that must be practiced, time and time again as you rise, earthlings, rise to the occasion of your birthright. This birthright enables you to see, with clear vision, who you are, where you are and what you are doing here. Do you realize you live in the greatest mystery of all? To agree to come into this plane requires so much stamina and trust. More trust that you could possibility imagine. To agree to forget so that you can assist in the rising of consciousness is such a sacrifice, and yet the sweet reunion with the Divine, with Creator makes it all worth it. To be lost, only to be found again, over and and over. You live this truth. The truth of the seeker.

What is the value of being the seeker? That you are the pioneers of the new world. One that involves each person being the truth of who they are, and nothing more is needed. Is that so difficult? Yes it is when the original human wound is running through your veins like poison. The wound of being bad, separate worthless. These are beliefs that each one of you holds, if you have “cleared it”within yourselves, you can still feel it in others. And you cannot deny that you are all breathing together this same air. On this 11:11, we ask that you not reject yourself, or another because they have a disdainful quality, but that you remember, that within lies the entire universe and that disdainful quality is as much yours to love as it is another’s. With that we say manifest well, tap into the higher flow and let yourselves be the greatness, the great souls, the Masters of Creator, the love that lies within.

FOUR REASONS DO-GOODERS ARE BROKE

Working as a healer I am always struck by the murky boundaries around money. In the spiritual and philanthropic circles, there is not much common agreement on the subject. In fact, it’s up for debate on most days. When I used to work as a video editor for corporations like MTV and Discovery Channel, financial contracts were clear. It was generally accepted that you did what you could to get paid as much as possible. When I would work for independent companies, financial contracts were hard to come by, not always honored and more work was expected for less money. The main reason why I “sold out” to corporate America for so many years was because they had better ethics around money. I know this sounds shocking, but I knew what to expect and I planned my life accordingly. I fondly remember spontaneous trips to Puerto Rico, shopping just for fun, paying for healing school and a savings account.

Upon deciding to be a healer, these financial standards were washed away by “Spirit” as they say. The expansion and bliss I felt with my newly found open heart usurped any desire for financial stability. I then defaulted into the financial belief system of the “spiritual” or “do-gooder” template. What was interesting is that I unconsciously took on a whole lotta garbage with it, and I found my financial situation steadily decline. I felt some sort of satisfaction about “leaving the system” and living with very little. I have learned a lot. No regrets. But as I integrate my experience, I have discovered the shadow side’s stinky smell. I had to get honest, because my bigger vision was to make a large impact, and it is really hard to do that when you are in survival mode. This is a huge subject, but I broke down a few major belief systems that prevent lovey-doveys from financial health.

SMELLY GARBAGE THAT MAKES DO-GOODERS BROKE

Garbage Pail #1: CARETAKING

Rationale: Must have compassion. Feeling guilty for charging money for work.
Desire: Love me
Flip side: Overcharging, huge ego.
Positive: Compassion and understanding is a beautiful thing, oftentimes lacking in cutthroat business.

Having compassion and empathy for people is normal. For healers, it can be off the charts. The pain of feeling other’s pain, can lead to caretaking behaviors. Learning how to control empathy will help strengthen boundaries and get clear on your needs and your client’s. It’s so easy to undercharge, or adjust our rates prematurely because we want to help someone. This does not empower them, it creates a set up of “needing the client,” or of feeling like they are controlling your decisions which then leads to resentment. And that makes them feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. If you don’t respect your financial needs, how can you expect someone else to? It is more healing to hold a clear and loving boundary around money for your clients than to be wishy washy for their sake. I personally have had a very difficult time with this garbage pail.

Garbage Pail #2: MARTYR

Rationale: Spirit Servant. Feeling obligated to serve, even if it means self-sacrifice.
Desire: Self-Empowerment
Flip side: Not knowing when to be generous.
Positive: Surrendering to Divine will is an essential step in spiritual development.

Oftentimes, when someone steps into what they consider to be a do-gooder profession, they feel it is ordained by God. All of the sudden, they are a servant of Spirit, a servant of the people, with no will of their own. This leads them into situations where they are over their heads and cannot behave ethically, or where they are taken advantage of.

One time, I got an email from someone asking that I heal their whole village, but they couldn’t offer me anything. They described a curse with many entities. Now, for me, as a healer, this is a potentially dangerous situation, and one I was really not qualified for. If I were “going with the flow” or “obeying in Spirit’s call,” or acting from ego I would have gone with it. It would have been a disaster. In the business world, you wouldn’t commit career suicide by taking on a job you couldn’t handle. In the healing world you must be extra careful because a village full of dark magic could really kill you.

I have heard people tell me that if God gave me a gift I am obligated to use it. I wonder where they get these ideas. I prefer to think I am working with the Love of God when I can. But I have seen healers in great distress because they did not honor their own needs and abilities, taking on too much for a good cause and ending up broke and sick. This can also happen while charging tons of money! Of course, as a human being we all can make a decision to offer healings or services for free when it truly feels right. Sometimes knowing when that is can take time to discern.

Garbage Pail #3: REBEL

Rationale: System is Bad. Confusing the dreaded “System” with money itself. I am a victim.
Desire: Accept me, I want to trust
Flip side: Making money into freedom, power and Godliness.
Positive: Creating new and better ways of living.

An Apache told me I would be a better healer if I didn’t charge. A Spaniard told me I would be punished with illness if I charged. An American woman at the gym eavesdropped and warned me that I better watch out or I would have another James Arthur Ray sweatlodge situation on my hands! Wow. Time to go back to garbage pail number two.

Most do-gooder types feel so rejected by the system that they associate money with that system, making money bad itself. This is a very stinky garbage pail. There are good reasons for smelling this one however. Many healing and philanthropic professions do not generate large incomes. Financial education in these fields is almost zero. The backlash when a healer or do-gooder tries to make money off products or services is enormous. This can lead to overcompensating by charging outrages prices, or becoming invisible and under the radar.

To my knowledge, some form of currency, whether it be paper based, gold based, seed based, flower based or bartar based, has always been used in organized societies. And, all societies are organized. It has not mattered the system: totalitarian, tribal, socialist, communist, democratic/capitalist, money is there in some form. I know so many wonderful artists and healers who feel rejected by the system who then blame money, act like they don’t need it and end up in survival mode, unable to help anyone. I have been in this category from time to time.

Money has nothing to do with the current system. Money is an ingredient to life that you can work with if you choose to create. If it changes form when a system collapses or grows, that energy will still be there to work with to amass power and help you achieve goals.

Garbage Pail #4: DENIAL

Rationale: Associating being close to nature/God as not needing or wanting money.
Desire: To be safe
Flip Side: Total lack of integrity & responsibility with money, separation, homelessness.
Positive: Reconnection with Mother Earth, Father Sky.

The denial creeps in when we honestly believe that living with nature means we don’t need society. We reject money, the system, people and taking it one step further, outcast ourselves. Now, returning to nature and being one with God are my passions in life. But the subsequent removal from society creates a hermit complex, a separatist attitude and usually has as much to do with childhood wounds as your own empowerment. That being said there are of course some people who will live out their purpose in a quieter way.

Denial forms when we don’t feel strong enough to handle the truth. The truth is we have allowed ourselves to be victim to our leaders, our systems, relying on them to save us or empower us. Even the most conscious people have this going on. This over-delegation of power to our leaders has allowed financial mismanagement on the largest scale. And we have let them. Stepping out of denial means taking responsibility as human beings, as divine beings, as natural beings and a members of the community. It’s painful, but like it or not, finances are a part of community living, they are a part of society. If we, the supposed ethical, moral and spiritually empowered ones do not infuse our knowledge into our financial reality, we are allowing ourselves to be overtaken by those who seek to control us. And they are out there, completely consumed by their goal. We must financially educate and empower ourselves so we can be a part of the solution, not the problem.

PIONEERING THE NEW EARTH

I recently had dinner with a lovely Russian couple. Boy did that give me some perspective. They relish the opportunities and the feeling of freedom here in the United States, have a clear understanding of the dangers of Communism and do not want to go back. From their experience, while there is corruption, we have it very, very good here. It could be a lot more corrupt. My own experience living in a third world country showed me that as well. Despite the world’s problems, and the United States’ role in it, we, as the people still have the ability to create what we dream of. There are other countries who also are founded on this template. But there are many more where the oppression is so strong they truly are held captive. We are the lucky ones and if our freedoms are in danger like they say, we have to work on all levels to make sure that doesn’t happen.

As pioneers, we are learning as we go. We spend a lot of time working on ourselves, developing consciousness, mindfulness and community… things that our new earth desperately needs, but the shadow side prevents us from truly making the impact we desire. We are not victims to anyone as long as we are free and able to do for ourselves. Coming out of denial, rebellion, martyrdom and over-empathy means learning a new skill that is hard at first. Combining the blissful energies of spirit and nature with the slower, more left brained skills of financial responsibility is no easy task for most. It is a new language and most of the time not an overnight success story. But more freedom waits on the other side. As we become fluent in the language it is effortless, the creative possibilities then limitless.

WHY CHANNEL FOR PERSONAL GROWTH?

The reason channeling is an excellent tool for personal growth is because is about tapping into your innate ability to communicate with all of life. Channeling is not about abandoning yourself so that a more evolved invisible being can jump inside you and show you the way. Channeling is about tapping into your highest wisdom, the wisdom that already exists inside of you, the wisdom you perhaps ignore, choosing instead to go with the tried and true methods of self-deception humans are so good at. Channeling involves making ourselves vulnerable to living a life of integrity and truth. While not foolproof, it is also not about diving further into spiritual fantasy.

When we join in the cosmic web of oneness, and accept that we all affect each other, we know that whatever wisdom brought through our physical form is already known to us in some way. If you are channeling art, music or ideas, you know that the potential for those ideas already existed within you, and are simply being activated by your willingness to open and do it. With wisdom and words it is no different. The more you do it, the more information can come through.

I am weary of prediction channeling, as the information coming through is only as clear as the person who is channeling, and as events are not fixed. I hold the intention for personal growth in individual sessions and groups because it does not rely on a specific outcome, but relies instead on the intelligence of the journey. On occasion predictions will come through, but I think of that information as offered in the spirit of growth, not in the spirit of outcome. As you tap into the realms of energy through channeling, that energy is brought through you, and this is what is so powerful for so many. This energy is touching them, activating the wisdom already inside, activating some known place that may have been temporarily lost.

I stress that channeling is not a gift given to enlightened beings, it is a birthright given to all of us. We are not reliant upon others to tell us our next move. We have access to that information ourselves a good deal of the time. As humans, we can also block it to allow a thorough understanding of a learning process. Helpers, elders, therapists & healers are all important, but only when they are holding your empowerment as their first priority.

The channeling certification program I offer is not about becoming an enlightened spiritual being, it is about taking the time to turn on a function that we have forgotten, so that we may live authentic lives with less suffering, so that we may feel connected at all times, so that we may help empower others to find this for themselves. Providing a structured course seems to make it easier for people to wrap their head around it and commit.

For myself, channeling has offered me the truth of my life path. It took throwing away wishful thinking and delusions and stepping into wisdom and maturity. It wasn’t easy, but it had become too painful to do it any other way. While I would not say that life itself has become easier, the way I perceive it has shifted dramatically through the support of the channeled wisdom.

Entity Removal: The Skinny

Planet Earth is going through extraordinary amounts of change. People are waking up to the truth everywhere, while others are determined to stay asleep, the economic system is potentially collapsing, and wars are raging worldwide. As we race towards our next evolutionary leap in consciousness (2012), the shit is hitting the fan. It’s getting harder and harder not to feel it. The transformations that are occurring right now are at times volatile and cathartic. To stay in balance, we must continually go inside to the Infinite Center, the sacred space of the heart, and connect to the Unity Grid. As the light reveals our shadows with such persistence, disembodied astral energy is released. This energy can present itself as entities, or disembodied spirits that attach themselves to humans. But, don’t be scared, it is also a time where you can release these energies easily and send them home. Most of the time they are very happy to leave the chaos.

What exactly is an “entity?” I define entities as energetic conglomerations vibrating at a level of negativity not optimal for human functionality. I also refer to them as critters, creepy crawlies, goobers, disincarnate spirits, cutie-pies and invisible enemies. They can range from almost harmless to deadly. Some are simply misplaced or lost and are grateful to be sent home. Others have an agenda of negativity that requires more skill to remove. In the world of healing, ceremony and light work it is essential that you be well versed and prepared for these energies. My colleague, Kelly Rose Zuvuya of ZuvuyaHeals.com, puts is beautifully:

An entity appears to need a physical body to fulfill a sense of safety. Since its consciousness exists in separation from the Divine, its energy is of extreme terror and believes that inhabiting (and sometimes controlling) a human body is its only option for survival. As healers we give the entity another option: to find safety in its reunion with the unconditional love of the Divine Source from which we came and to return to the light of its infinite existence.

While the idea of being possessed or inhabited with an entity is scary, in truth we need to keep in mind Kelly Rose’s words. This helps raise the vibration to a level of love, supporting its reunion with the Divine Source, its journey back home. If you go into anger or separation yourself as the healer, you will probably its next home. Sometimes energies do not want to go to the Divine Source, but they will go back to the dimension from which they came.

I’ve found this issue of entities to be complex. It is easy to place too much emphasis on them and say, “My entity made me do it.” It is also easy to dismiss them entirely with the idea that you wont be affected. Just stay in the vibration of love and you will not attract them. Well, this is true, but how many of us are vibrating at the level of love at all time? If you are a human being, there should be very few if any! You may be unaware of a wounding that can attract these astral energies. It is much better to be educated, than to use denial as a form of protection

WHY AND HOW DO ENTITIES ATTACH?
Entities need energy to survive on the lower astral planes and human beings are a great source of denser energy, keeping them as grounded and embodied as possible. Since they have consciousness, they also have purpose and look for bodies to express that purpose. They are able to attach to them through holes in the auric field as well as vibrational resonance. Vibrational resonance means that there is an aspect of your conscious that is in alignment with the entity’s consciousness. Through the Law of Attraction, the entity can attach to you. So if you are vibrating a lot of fear or anger, you will be more vulnerable because this is generally what feeds them. They also love the light, if they secretly long to go home, but it is harder to attach because the vibration is too quick for them. However if you have a lot of light, and you also have significant woundings vibrating at a lower rate, you are a main course and desert. For those who are open psychically, or people who are using drugs and/or are or have been exposed to abuse, you are particularly vulnerable because your field could have this configuration, as well as have many holes. Channeling and healing is less like a few holes and more like an open door, so you want to make sure you a good peek hole, or someone you trust to answer the doorbell. Entities can travel through lifetimes with you, so it’s a good idea to get checked at least once a lifetime.

How can you tell when you have been infiltrated? Sometimes that is tricky, and it is only over time that you are able to distinguish the change. Common symptoms are:

•Unexplained, persistent anger
•Trouble sleeping
•Nightmares
•Illness that does not get better
•Persistent fatigue
•Migraines
•Feelings of “not being yourself”
•Loss of motivation for your life goals- feeling like, “What’s the point?”
•Hearing voices, or seeing a recurring image of the energy

If you know someone who seems to be acting differently, not like themselves, more negative and you can no longer connect with them, it may be that they have been taken over by an entity. This is different from a walk in. A walk in is an agreement between two souls for the evolution of those two souls. Entity attachment, while it may serve your growth process, is not a “formal” agreement, but an unconscious agreement that can be easily reversed through healing, working your process and extraction.

Gossiping, back-stabbing, negatively projecting and victimizing are forms of psychic attack. You are sending energy conglomerations of attack to another, and you are also vibrating at a high level of negativity, harming yourself. Genuinely processing your anger, pain and shadow pieces with the intention of healing is not psychic attack. However it is important to do it in a safe container of healing, preferably with someone who is trained in supporting that process.

There are a few vulnerable areas for attachment worth mentioning. Especially susceptible areas are the second and third chakras and the back of your neck. One time, I accidentally took on an entity from a client after he had processed a great deal of anger. I was very tired with a sinus infection that day and hadn’t had enough time to properly set up protection for the room, nor was I looking for an entity. I’m sure my auric field was full of openings and it just jumped in, having nowhere else to go, when he unexpectedly released it. I experienced the entity entering my field as chills that ran through my body. These were not the fun, high vibrating chills, but the slower, lower ones- although they didn’t feel bad. It can be difficult to distinguish the difference, but there is one. I thought to myself, “Ooops.”

Over the next several days I became weaker and weaker. My anger levels began rising. Before I would fall asleep I could clearly see the image of the energy, which was an old wizard like being who was very angry at humanity. Sleep was restless and unsatisfying. By the time I got to my healer’s table, I was practically crawling I was so tired. This invisible enemy was literally sucking the life out of my third chakra, and would have inevitably led to a chronic fatigue illness. There was very little, if any vibrational resonance, and my healer effortlessly sent him home…away from humanity, and I instantly began to feel better.

Entities can also attach into your nervous system through your spine, and linger there for years, activating themselves much like a virus when you are weak, or vibrating at their level. This is a real energy drain and creates anxiety. I always check the spine of a client to make sure he or she is all clear.

I have also found a lot of astral beings residing in the heart. Many times these little goobers are unconsciously called in to protect a broken heart and will only leave if they are assured that the person will be cared for properly. They have strong sense of purpose and, taking their job seriously and mean no harm, but they are not vibrating at a level of love, they are vibrating with fear. For optimal growth, these beings must be removed so the healing process can begin. If they won’t budge, it means the client must do some deeper healing work to be ready to let go of the protection.

Many well-known celebrities contract entities. Those who have been exposed to personal trauma, abuse and drugs, while having millions of people psychically attack them on a daily basis don’t really have a fighting chance. You can see that they are no longer themselves, massive soul pieces have left them and they are headed on a road to destruction with no sense of self to fall back on. Removing the critters wouldn’t be the only thing necessary to mend those wounds, but it would be a great start.

PREVENTION AND PROTECTION
As with any type of affliction, prevention is the best medicine. Empowered love is your strongest tool. Developing your wisdom at the same rate as your ability to hold unconditional love gives you the sophistication you need to open to multiple dimensions. Your wisdom is your road map; your love is your adventurer.

The most important concepts to remember when you are opening up to energy from other dimensions are love, intentionality, sacred space and structural protection. The calling in of the four directions is a process of creating a strong, spiritual structure and boundary, supported by the forces of nature for you to surrender and relax into. This allows safety in the opening. I was lazy about this in the beginning of my practice. I had to learn the importance of maintaining the highest vibration and structure in my healing space the hard way, by getting bitten a few times. Placing sacred geometrical structures, built from a foundation of love, such as the octahedron, around you and the room is a great way to use structure. My healing room is “gridded” with sacred geometry on every surface. I’m not talking about building these structures physically, although you can, I am talking about creating them in spiritual space with your intention and your love. Taking the time to properly open and close spiritual space, to cleanse your environment with time tested techniques like smudging with sage or toning and having an ongoing spiritual practice are your best preventative strategies.

Taking this concept further, it is most important to keep your physical body vibrant, strong and healthy. Remember, you have more power in the physical dimension than any disincarnate spirit or negative energy. The more authentic power you feel within your physical structure, the more it will not house anything else but you. Exercise that works with your nervous system and spirit like yoga, martial arts and other Eastern-based systems are best. The body has wisdom. Its DNA codes are meant to be with your soul, your energy, and if you take care of it properly, your soul and body will have a mutually exclusive relationship. Monogamy takes work, but its rewards are a solid unit of safety, structure, flow and purpose. Now, you can have friends over, like high-level guides, but by invitation only! You can recognize these beings by their high vibration of love, wise guidance, and commitment to your highest growth. They respect your boundaries and want the best for you. If these principles are not reflected in your human relationships, chances are they are not reflected in your spiritual relationships either.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL USE
There are many who will disagree with my opinions on this subject, but I’m OK with that. My experience with drugs and alcohol is limited and in the past, mostly because I was so open in those days that it took very little to be astral food for night critters and the dearly departed. My third eye opened wide from the drugs and unsupervised psychic exploration and I was able to see everything. I could hear voices in my ear-calling my name- much like a radio dial switching stations when I was falling asleep. It was unpleasant. I was too afraid to go to horror movies, much less have to see and hear them in real life, so I took up yoga instead. I can always tell when a client has been using drugs because I have to do so much more repair work and clearing in the auric field and there are always entities. Kuthumi, channeled through Michelle Ellof from the Lightweaver.org states:

“Many have said using mind altering drugs, when you know what you are doing, is safe. No it's not, especially if there are still traumas locked in your body. If you still have deep wounds, you are running the risk of opening yourself up to something that you may not know how to deal with… even if there are facilitators holding you in the space. You open yourself to the astral world where things exist that you cannot even comprehend. The reason they exist is because humanity has brought it into existence through negativity and fear, and each of them build upon themselves. So, being in an environment where there is a lot of alcohol consumption and drug abuse, means not only are you partying with your friends but with a couple of invisible buddies too! And who’s to say what's on their menu?!”

Ceremonial medicine, in my opinion, has great value in spiritual growth, but it does attract and use entities as part of that process. I think it is harder to integrate these experiences in the modern world, but it’s really an individual choice. I have seen some of the largest and most powerful entities attached to those who do these ceremonies and then quickly return to modern life. I would advise setting aside a lot of time afterwards to integrate in nature first.

ENTITY REMOVAL
While it is possible to remove entities yourself, it requires some training, confidence and skill. Sometimes it’s best to have a professional do it. There are many ways to remove entities, but they all follow the same principles.

Simply put, after putting up all your protection and getting into a space of love, you tap into the vibration of the attached entity by finding the wounded place/distorted belief that the person holds. The healer goes into an altered space and meets the entity, many times dialoguing with respect to that being’s purpose and free will. The removal most often becomes a voluntary process as you offer it a better option. After the entity is extracted, it is sent back home or to the light, usually assisted by guides and angels. Archangel Michael is a good bet. The person must then continue their healing process and bring more of their own energy into their system so they no longer carry the vibration that attracted that entity. Many times as soon as the entity is released the person automatically refills his or herself and heals. The energy is really ready to leave because the belief had probably already been shifting.

Indigenous healers most often use the help of extraction crystals or other physical objects. As Kelly Rose Zuvuya mentioned, the entity feels safe within a physical body, so placing the energy inside of an object can be an easier and safer transition into wherever it needs to go. Sometimes they don’t want to go to the Divine, they would rather go back to their world, and back to their families. Soul retrieval is an excellent way to find the wounded place and bring in the clients energy.

In the case of my client who “passed the angry entity” to me, there was no extraction, the entity just jumped bodies, but the healing principles were the same. He faced his rage, came into his power, shifted his vibration, then released an entity just by that process, and a life long feeling of overpowering rage left him. He still gets angry from time to time, but it’s a healthy, manageable level. Situations like these are hazards of the job for a healer, but 99 percent of the time they are easily preventable. I shouldn’t have done the healing from an exhausted, sick place. Lesson learned.

Sometimes disincarnate souls are not attached to a person, but a property. One time I was doing a space clearing, and the soul of the previous owner was still attached to the property. She had killed herself and was lingering, filled with guilt. When I connected into her, she didn’t feel she deserved to be with God, that she had betrayed Him (these were her words.) Through the process of Theta Healing, I was able to download to her the feeling of being forgiven by God, of being loved by God, and of being wanted by God. Once this process unfolded, her vibration shifted, she thanked me and left as fast as she could.

While I wont go into possession, curses and black magic in this article, they follow the same principles, requiring more skill and energy to remove.

THE GIFT
With all this exposure to entities, I think what I am left with is a deeper appreciation for the human body. It’s in high demand! It is a powerful partner in life and deserves to be taken care of properly. When my body is attended to and strong, my boundaries are clear and nobody messes with me. I also am touched by the sincerity of many of these energies, their longing to be with God is the same as my own, and their willingness to receive help surpasses most humans. The goal of healing is not to remove an entity, but to further experience our divine, infinite selves. To me, offering an entity the chance to go home, is the same as offering an unhealed, separated aspect of our consciousness the opportunity to go home, to return to our Divine Source, the Infinite Center.

Surrender and Betrayal: Divine Partnership

A few years ago, I was just about to finish an advanced training of one of my favorite techniques, Theta Healing. The Theta Healing technique is based on simple principles. You shift your consciousness into a theta brain wave, state and with your intention travel to the non-dualistic plane of the Creator Level, the 7th plane, and command a healing. Then Creator does the healing and the practitioner witnesses it. According to Vianna Stibal, the founder of Theta Healing, changes are much more likely to occur when in a theta brain wave. If a healing doesn’t work, you start digging for undermining core beliefs, releasing and replacing them.

The group of 10 or so practitioners at this training was particularly good. We were very cohesive and got along well. At the end of the weekend, a woman with cancer came in for a group healing. She had been working with our teacher, Eric Brummet for a little while to clear belief patterns. But now she was in her last days. Her cancer was so widespread you could see it eating away at her tiny body. She had one lung removed and one barely functioning. The right side of her body had all but collapsed, her breathing was labored and she could barely speak. She had already bought her cremation plot. My heart went out to her, and I could feel that despite her condition, she was totally open. When asked if she were ready to receive the healing, she answered with gratitude, “Yes, I am so appreciative of you doing this for me. It means so much. Thank you.”

The group’s intention was solid. Our only job was to hold a state of love in a theta frequency on the 7th plane, and Eric would command that a healing be done on her. We could all feel the intensity of this healing, something special was happening. In the center of the circle, our client completely surrendered. As he commanded the healing, all of us witnessed a clear picture of the cancer energy leaving her. We could feel it in our own cells. After Creator was done healing, which was maybe after a few minutes, she opened her tear filled eyes. Thanking us, she stood up easily for the first time in months. Overwhelmed with emotion she was almost at a loss for words. She told us that she thought the cancer left and that she felt much better. Gratitude overcame her as she continued to thank us profusely. She was breathing, talking and standing with ease. Our hearts were bursting. A few weeks later, it was confirmed by her doctor that she was cancer free.

We did a few group healings like that, but none had those same results. Why did she get the instant healing and not the others?

SURRENDER
We have all heard this word so much it’s a cliché. But it really should be taught with its shady companion, Betrayal! Surrender and Betrayal go hand and hand, and working with awareness of these complimentary forces can help the ups and downs of it all.

In the early stages of learning surrender we imagine throwing all caution to the wind, letting go and letting God! Many of us approach our toughest challenges in this way, surrendering to the divine plan (so we think) only to have it totally blow up in our faces, time and time again. “But I surrendered, I did exactly the right thing!” Really, a lot of the time that we think we are surrendering, we are actually avoiding responsibility. We aren’t letting go, we just don’t want to deal with the mess we’ve made, and we don’t know how. Within that avoidance is usually deeper issues that are living in our subconscious, shadowed, only to show themselves at critical moments. Somehow you find yourself in the same mess, over and over, betrayed by life again.

A good example of that would be an addict before they enter recovery. Throwing caution to the wind will only lead them right back to their addiction. An addict who is in recovery knows that surrendering to a higher power is part of the healing process. They admit they don’t know how to fix things, but are willing to learn. An addict also knows that for a long time, a complete reprogramming needs to be done sometimes involving extreme control and responsibility. For the over eater, they must control their diet; for the alcoholic they must control where they hang out and who they hang with; for the love addict, they must take control of their emotions and bodies. This intense reprogramming must go on for some time before they are ready to let go a little. The addict is a great example of learning a deeper kind of surrender.

The next phase of surrender is when you throw yourself into the learning process, unafraid to take responsibility. You really do all the right things. You go to therapy or your healer, do all the steps according to the manifesting book you bought, surrender and still, it blows up in your face. This is where a little thing called Karma, Heritage, Family Template, or Early Childhood Wounding can screw you. The energy they hold can be stronger than your positive intention, especially if they are shadowed. These kinds of core issues can take more work than expected to shift. You may think that you have done the work, that you processed your issues, you are cleared of it, and find that just when you think its safe to let go again, BOOM, the unthinkable happens. You are back in debt, your third wife left you, guess what? There was still more to learn. This can be particularly difficult and is often times experienced as a deep betrayal by God and Self. Doubt, anger, resentment and fear linger, and yet also fuel the deeper learning.

Of course there are life events that really blindside you, with no forewarning, like sudden deaths to a child or spouse. The death of a child from what I have seen, is a pain that a parent will walk with for the rest of their life. With these events, it is possible that your Higher Self and Guide team wanted you to learn something, so you agreed beforehand to allow it. This can really incite anger and the feeling of betrayal, especially since you don’t remember making any such agreement. And so you think, how could it be safe to surrender and let go when that kind of pain is a possibility? The fear reaction here is to begin to control everything to prevent more pain, but that is not an appropriate response for this kind of betrayal. What is called for here is not control, but grieving and letting go.

Many young initiates who have tapped in to Creator’s flow, feeling unbridled joy in their hearts, have unexpected traumatic events happen to mature them into the next level. This “loss of innocence” is the first of many spiritual deaths they will have.

So as you can see Surrender and Betrayal go together. If we know that, than we can in some ways expect that some form of betrayal could happen. However, instead of using this information to fuel our protective control systems, we can use it to go to the underlying vibration of surrender, which is acceptance.

True surrender happens at a very deep and very conscious level. True surrender usually happens after we’ve been kicked in the ass a lot. It is intimately interwoven with the wisdom you gain through experience. The more you learn about a painful shadow piece within yourself or even within the world, the safer you are to surrender. You have accepted something painful as a part of life, you know and trust yourself more, so it’s not as scary or unfair. It now holds less emotional and energetic charge, therefore, you wont attract it as much. Not only that, it wont be as big of a deal when it does happen.

I once channeled this very powerful meditation during an extraordinary difficult time. I had opened my heart and was betrayed, but I desperately wanted to stay open. I could feel my heart shutting down, broken in pain. I was begging my guides to give me something to ease the pain.

They instructed me to center myself in my heart and opened my heart chakra, front and back. I imagined the two vortexes spinning rosy pink, taking in love. I let the love hit the painful spots in my heart. Then my guides said, “Now imagine an arrow being shot into your heart.” Seriously? But I went ahead with it and noticed that the arrow went right through the space that was created in my open heart, and out the back. Like it was shot through a hollow tube, carrying the current of love. It was so simple. Did it hurt? A little, but not for long.

True surrender happens when our capacity for love is able to hold the pain of betrayal with a deeply trustful relationship with Self and Divine. True surrender, like the kind our healed cancer client had, can be felt in your cells. Who knows the whole process that brought her to that moment, but you can bet it wasn’t easy. True surrender that day meant she would live. On another day it could have been that she transitioned. True surrender brings you so close to the Divine that you can decide to forgive, and choose your life over and over again.

The Healing Process

I am always struck in my own process, how is it possible to still be challenged by an issue I thought I had cleared years ago? I notice the same pattern in my friends, colleagues and clients. Why does this continually mystify us? What are some of the misconceptions about the healing process that continually leave us bewildered by life?

There are many misconceptions about healing. The biggest one is that there is a destination get to, and that destination, which should hopefully only take one or a few sessions to get to, is the perfect life experience of which we always dreamed, or perhaps being the perfect person, totally happy and fulfilled. The reality is that healing is a maturation process involving other dimensions with no guaranteed results. If there were a goal, it might be acceptance of the way things are, detachment from the way things should be, and a continuous connection to Source. However, in the human experience and I believe the experience of an ever evolving universe, with your perspective constantly shifting, the ability to accept and detach and connect is constantly challenged with the soul’s desire to experience and create more variations of life. The perfect life we had dreamed of that we might have even achieved is usually based on a set of desires, gifts and woundings that will take on a different form once the new vantage point is reached.

What do you mean woundings?? Your wound is your gift. This is the concept and experience that was taught to me at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing (BBSH), although I did not really understand it until after I graduated. First of all, the whole concept of “the wound” was elusive. What were they talking about? My first experience that I may have “the wound” occurred sometime at the end of first year where we had to bring in a picture of ourselves as a child. I remember looking at that picture of the child and I began to cry uncontrollably (this is a typical experience at BBSH). I couldn’t explain it. I just missed that child so much.

How is the perceived abandonment and separation from Source/God/Creator reflected in your personal life experience, and how does that inspire and fuel you to develop and bring forth your unique gift into the world, ultimately reuniting you with Source energy? What makes you ask, “Why God, WHYYYYY!!” And then what makes you do something about it?

For example, if during a few years of your childhood, you lived in a country at war and experienced bombings on a regular basis, you know that much of the reason you may desire to live in a peaceful and calm environment is due to this early life experience. As you heal that wound, your desires for how you want to live will shift. After some time of rest, you may decide you are bored and want to make a bigger difference. Fueled by your life experience, you forge a career in assisting children during times of war. This would be a life choice directly based on your wound. Your gift that was received as a result of this wound will flourish and be bravely brought into the world.

Learning how to face and deal with your pain is one of the most important lessons of the healing process, perhaps life itself. I recently had the pleasure of holding and spending time with a newborn baby. This baby is a lucky kid, because he has two of the best parents an infant could have. His mother is my oldest friend, whom I have known for almost 30 years. When we first met we were just a little bigger than her son is now! This friend of mine is very special, she was born in a state of unconditional love and stayed there. No therapy or healing, I swear. She has been a big teacher for me as I have sought so desperately the quality she seems to possess without effort.

I think somewhere in the back of my psyche, I had the belief that if the parents did everything right; the baby would never feel any pain. (Yes, it’s obvious I haven’t had a child yet!) What I witnessed with my friend’s baby, however, was that it went from peaceful to crying in an instant, and I could see that the parents were doing everything right, it was totally unavoidable that this baby would feel pain. When the baby cried, the parents scrambled to find what it needed, which was either holding, feeding or diaper changing. When they found what the baby needed, the baby was peaceful once again. I was literally watching the life process unfold before my eyes. What a teaching. It dawned on me, “Oh, we’re supposed to get upset, phew!” It’s never perfect in the way that we imagine. We go from peaceful, to anxious and upset, to figuring out what we need, to peaceful and happy once again.

I think we all spend a lot of energy trying not to get upset, but if our tears are used properly it’s a one-way ticket to figuring out what our needs are. So the idea that we have to heal so that we can never feel pain again is an illusion, perhaps the biggest illusion of all. I truly believe that healing involves being able to accept the life process, pain and all and have the courage to feel it and make good choices to meet our needs. This is what my teacher, Barbara Brennan and her staff, taught so exquisitely.

Another misconception is that once you heal an issue, and I’m talking a core wounding issue, not a physical injury or disease, that it never is a problem again. I’m sure there are exceptions but I have not yet seen one. Even those that claim instant healing, walk in souls, reincarnating in your own body, etc., still have a core wounding. They may be out of the wheelchair or cancer free, but they are still human. As you go around the spiral of life, you will be hit with that core issue again and again, each time deepening your understanding of yourself, how you operate and how that wound is the ticket to your greatest gift in the world. The core wound based issues are directly linked to your individuated divine spark. That is the uniqueness of who you are. Does that mean you will be plagued by painful memories of sexual abuse for the rest of your life? Absolutely not, but it could mean that you have to work with understanding and creating healthy boundaries for a long time.

Lets say, 20 years into your journey you decide to start a new business. As you hit the point of the spiral of life where that wounding activates, you may find that you are unable to create healthy boundaries about money. You know that boundaries and self worth are core issues related to the sexual abuse, so with that awareness, you take your healing process into a deeper understanding of boundaries. You strengthen your self-respect; get in touch with your true needs, which allows you to feel the sweet core of who you are. You have grown and matured and this allows you to expand your business farther than you ever thought possible. You have transmuted the issue, but the sweet core of who you are, mixed with your desire to bring forth your gift to world is Divine Reconnection. And it will bring tears.

My own core wounding pops up pretty regularly. Without going deeply into circumstances or early childhood psychology, it’s related to my parent’s divorce, and I can experience extreme abandonment and isolation. Of course, I always think that I have totally nipped it in the bud. While I no longer am upset about the divorce, I can feel a deepening around what this wound brings up for me. Several months ago, I did a soul retrieval to explore the origins of this abandonment wound, to see if there was more information I could get from other lifetimes:

I journeyed back to the source of abandonment. I found myself in a cliff dwelling community in the southwest, but it was deserted. I couldn’t understand why it was deserted and thought I must not be clear. But I saw my guide sitting down with a smile on her face and she encouraged me to keep going. I traveled down the cliffs to the bottom of the river where I saw a fragment of my soul staring at disbelief at her dead body. The emotions of the scene were strong. I knew I had jumped. What could have led me to such a decision?

As I channeled the experience through, I was witness to one of the most beautiful lifetimes I had ever revisited. Never before had another lifetime been so completely lucid, as if it were happening now. Born into a good, solid family, I was loved and cared for. I easily developed self-confidence and as I matured, became known for my ability with crafts and beadwork. It was a fulfilling life. At the time of womanhood, many men were my suitors, but I waited until I felt the best man arrived, married him and had three children. Juggling family life and my craft was only made possible by the support of family and the community, the strength and safety of it. I learned through these experiences that I could depend on others when I needed, and I deeply loved them for it.

My children were still toddlers when the droughts came. It was clear that we had to move to a new location, however, there was indecision about where everyone would go. People were choosing to split and go in different directions for survival. Having never dealt with serious emotional stress, I was at a loss to handle this. I couldn’t bear the idea of my life falling apart in this way, of losing my identity, my community, those I counted on, and of having such struggle and unknown before me. I was petrified. As people packed up, my fear overwhelmed me. In a moment of delirium, I flung myself off the cliff. Instantly I filled with regret as I fell into the black hole of my decision, dying in the shallow river.

I began to dialogue with the paralyzed soul fragment, still in shock at the bottom of the river. She told me of her grief, her guilt at abandoning her family. How she didn’t deserve them, how weak she was. I also learned of the decision to never be dependent on anyone again, to avoid such rash actions. I cried with her as the healing process began. After completing the soul retrieval, I could feel my beloved family close with me. I had missed them so much. I apologized to them over and over. Could they ever forgive me? There have been many times in this current lifetime where I felt like I was falling into a black hole of isolation and loneliness, whether I was abandoned, or I abandoned, I have had to face, over and over again, how to catch myself in this free fall, how to feel the pain of loss, heal and move forward into something new. The breakdown of my nuclear family that left me no ground to stand on triggered “the wound” of feeling separate from Source, and from the Human Family so I began to isolate, making sure I was not dependent on anyone, recreating my karmic story. My biggest challenge has been giving up isolation and independence so I can come into community again. What are the main issues my clients come to work on with me? Abandonment of course! Heartbreak of course! Coming into healthy community of course! I love it and it continually challenges me to heal.

After the emotional intensity of the soul retrieval dissipated, life carried on with more beauty and connection. I had reached a healthy balance in my work and play life, was surrounded by great friends and opportunity was knocking at every door. I was happy.

In June I went to Living in the Heart workshop in Sedona and stayed with my spiritual parents and mentors, Barry and Cynthia Kapp of Wisdom of the Earth Medicinal Aromatherapy (www.wisdomoftheearth.com). I connected with Barry and Cynthia when we went to Guatemala and Easter Island with Drunvalo. Cynthia and I instantly bonded. She is a sassy New Yorker like myself and it’s relaxing for me to have someone to be loud and sarcastic with on these spiritual trips! These two beings were such bright lights it felt like there was a tractor beam connecting me to them. Not to mention they always smelled fabulous from all the essences. Like a lost child I followed them around everywhere. Even when I tried to stop following them I couldn’t. It wasn’t long before they were referring to me as their daughter. Since Guatemala, they have literally taken me into their family and begun filling the gaps in my childhood.

The experience in Sedona was intense. I was surrounded with community in a far deeper and richer way than I had ever experienced. I had a cathartic experience at Drunvalo’s workshop, several of my beloved BBSH friends were with me, being so close to nature filled my soul and staying with my spiritual parents proved to be the most healing experience of all. I think I relaxed for the first time. I felt no pressure to succeed like I always feel in New York. Cynthia constantly smothered me with love and medicinal essences. Barry, with seven daughters of his own, has the Dad thing down. He even asked that I move out to Sedona because he was worried about me in Manhattan. Although it touched my heart, I laughed at him, because after all, I’m a big girl, New York is my home, my root, and my rock and if I was really meant to move, I would be given a big sign. But by the end of the trip I was dreading returning home to my empty little apartment and over achiever life. When it was time to go, Barry took me aside, opened his heart and told me all of my wonderful qualities. I teared up and inhaled this gift; it meant the world to me. Major dad healing. While I loved my life in NY, I had to admit this was better.

When I arrived in New York, I didn’t have the heart to put up the Manhattan energy protection filter, I was so relaxed. But when I walked down the street almost every other person began talking to me, offering me everything from death threats to marriage proposals. I was a little shocked. Being that open was hazardous. Several people even thought I was a tourist and tried to scam me- that had never happened to me. My God, how much had changed in ten days? I could feel all the tension of city life in a way I never had. After a week spent mostly hiding in my apartment, I surrendered and brought my field back in, reinforcing the boundary. No more death threats, although I still enjoy the occasional marriage proposal. Why tune those out?

Over the weeks I noticed that I was experiencing difficulty sleeping, heart palpitations, shortness of breath and numbness in my arms. The problem escalated until one weekend I was completely overcome by fear, and at the insistence of my Dad (biological), I went to the emergency room. I was in a total state of panic. I thought I was having a heart attack. I went to the emergency room near Chinatown. Tears were rolling down my face as I felt underneath this fear a desperate, infant need to be held and loved. The care in my Dad’s voice felt so good. I hadn’t heard that in so long. I was so confused because I had more support in my life than ever. I mean I thought I had healed that! But still there was more I longed for, much more. The need to be back in harmonious community, in nature and cared for was a force welling up inside me that I had never allowed myself to fully feel.

After a totally normal EKG, the doctor came in and said, “You have anxiety.” I was surprised, I mean, I live a balanced life, meditate, do yoga and am a healer for crying out loud, I would know if I had anxiety. I told him he must be mistaken. He then asked me what I did for a living, I said, “I am a therapist of sorts, a healer.” He said, “Oh, yes, of course,” as if he sees this all the time, “I think then, what you need is more care.” Oh, more tears flowed, he knew!! It was that obvious, I wasn’t fooling anyone. He said, “Who is taking care of you?” I paused, “No one,” getting more worked up. Why God, WHYYYYY?

It was petrifying to be in that hospital, all alone. I didn’t ask anyone to come because everyone is so busy and stressed in Manhattan I didn’t want to bother them. As I was covered with electrical equipment and hooked up to big machines, I felt myself free-falling into the black hole again. I silently screamed to the abyss, “I need more CARE!!” and something different happened as I cried these original tears of need. Instead of falling to the bottom of a river, or falling into the center of myself/Source like I had learned to do over the last five years (a good skill, by the way), I plummeted straight into the unconditional love web of my community. I could literally feel them catching me. Safe in this web of love, I allowed myself to fully relax into it and connect. I had done the work, allowed myself to fully feel the pain and the need and I wasn’t abandoned, I could feel the circle was completing, I was forgiven and I forgave myself. I was ready to come out of isolation and move back into community.

When I talked to Cynthia about it she said, “So, is that a big enough sign for you?” After a few days of recovery, and slathering myself in the essences she sent me, I put my apartment on the market without having any real plans of what I would do. “I don’t care anymore,” I said, “I’m done with this lifestyle. I hate living alone. I hate the pressure of paying a mortgage for a tiny apartment by myself. I need more care like Dr. Wang said!” Whatever was keeping me attached to New York dissolved. As word spread of my decision, I immediately had offers from friends around the country to take me in, and email support came from around the world. The most offers, including work, a place to live, friends, nature and spiritual parents, came from the Sedona area, suspiciously close to where I had taken the original leap into “the wound” in my cliff dwelling lifetime.

As I continue in the healing process, coming home deeper within myself, my longing and my community, I treasure not only the gifts that I will get to bring into the world as a result, but also all the gifts that have been offered to me in the process.

Finding My Indigenous Roots

What helps you connect to being human on Earth? It is not just about the stars from which you came, but the land, the traditions and the race that runs through your DNA. As most light workers understand, it is not about becoming so filled with light that you leave Earth (finally), it is about connecting so deeply with Source, Self and Earth so that you are a bridge between Father Sky and Mother Earth. That bridge, you, heals and loves the Earth, as it welcomes her into a space of more peace, more love and more joy. We as humans are necessary for Earth’s ascension into her next stage of growth because we are a beloved part of her. As a child of Mother Earth and Father Sky, we are at our best when we receive the love that is offered, and forgive what we think is wrong. We are at our best when we are the fullest expression of our unique Divine Spark. This is what good parents desire: Their children to be happy. This mission is embedded in all of us. And as we heal ourselves, living a life of Joy, we offer our ancestors healing seven generations back and seven forward. And so with that model, Mother Earth and Father Sky are evolving by our efforts. They love us profoundly for it, because any good parent could see that despite the difficult conditions here on Earth, we still dedicate ourselves to love. Knowing who you are as a human being, and loving being a human being is so crucial. While God, Spirit, Creator is always available, our spiritual lineages and ancestry keep our Divine connection grounded in our humanity.

This April, a historic gathering, Return of the Ancestors (www.earthworksforhumanity.org) will take place in northern Arizona. Elders from all over the world will gather in ceremony for the re-union of indigenous wisdom, and for world harmony. As I looked at the guest list, I couldn’t help but notice that there was very little representation from the Indigenous Caucasian tradition. I know what you are thinking, what is the Indigenous Caucasian tradition? Well, I’d like to know too.

As a little girl, I spent most of my time in our yard, which backed up into the woods. I had favorite trees, played with fairies and journeyed with my imagination to parallel worlds and magical lands. I could spend hours out there. The time after a rain was one of my favorites and I would stare, mesmerized at the dew on the leaves. Puddles of water collected at the roots of the trees, forming pools that my pixie friends would swim in. I dreamed of kingdoms and unicorns, making potions from nature and miraculously healing people with my energy that ran through my hands. This was a natural spiritual process that welled up inside me, but no context in the modern world with which to express it. This was my secret world and I never discussed it. My mother was very spiritual, and would have embraced my ideas, but having been unknowingly stripped of her magic, it wasn’t truly real to her either. Had I brought it up it would have been lovingly supported as make believe that she wished were true, and yet this was where I felt the most comfortable, the most real. With no context, I had an instinct to keep this magical world a secret, and it remained that way for a very long time. Many spiritual people have had this experience; I know I am not unique.

I grew up in a predominantly reformed Jewish neighborhood in Westchester County, New York. There were a lot of bagels, Bar Mitzvahs and very high SAT scores. There were a few other Episcopalians, but Christianity was not a culture that directed our lives. In general church was a pleasant experience and I loved the choir music. However I rejected the dogmatic approach to Christianity at an early age, and my natural pagan roots were somewhat supported by my mother who would tell me stories of how Christianity was really created by the Roman Empire for political reasons, that the time we celebrate Christmas was actually adapted from the pagan solstice celebration and that Jesus was actually born some time in the spring or summer (recently scientifically proven by astronomy). Past lives and reincarnation were often talked about and I was constantly reminded that I chose her as a mother whenever we would argue! We were frequent guests at the A.R.E. center, founded by the sleeping prophet, Edgar Cayce. The greatest gift my mother ever gave me was of exposing me to this and encouraging my spirituality.

As a teenager, I felt tremendous callings towards Native Americans. I even did an independent study on the subject as a senior in high school. I didn’t want to be just another hippie co-opting native tradition, but it seemed the best example for what I was experiencing in my heart and soul. I felt so much grief over the destruction of these great cultures. But what of the indigenous roots of Caucasians? I assumed there were none. I didn’t really see any around me, and while I felt an incredible pull towards the Celts, tales of Avalon were just that, tales from a long time ago, and I just didn’t connect my own European roots to the Celts. I thought it had all died and that hurt. I didn’t feel connected to the Wiccan tradition, and the Episcopalian church did not fill the longing for my indigenous roots, and I didn’t feel I had the right to claim any other race’s roots. I carried shame for my race, guilt in my genes. The guilty robe of the race that took out the Native Americans, enslaved the Africans massacred the Jews and on and on. It seemed the most white thing I could do was get a good job, make good money and set the table properly. While I was good at the latter, the former was kind of a bust. But this was my “heritage.” Then why, in my heart, did I wanted to live by the cycles of Nature, reuniting with Mother Earth, living by magic and creativity, swimming in the Mystery?

My freshman year of college I was confronted with this issue head on. There was a group for all minorities, but there was no group for me. And, had I wanted to put together a group, I could not have formed the “White American” group. That would have been a real “no no” and I really wouldn’t have known what do with it. And part of being white is not talking about the fact that you are white. I was told I didn’t need a group because the whole United States was my group. But I did need one, because I had no roots, I was ashamed of being white, and I had no idea what being Caucasian even meant.

Have the supremacists taken away our ability to connect to the innate gifts of being Caucasian, of being a human connected to the root of humanity, of Earth? I think that is one of the biggest cover-ups in history: The raping of the indigenous roots of Caucasians, tracing back at least to the Un-holy Roman Empire. Its not about race, its about stripping the Indigenous of their wisdom of all tribes, of all colors. Because the dominant race of people to conquer was/is white, all white people are at risk to assume that’s who they are too. But we all have had the rug pulled over our eyes. It is not only the Native American children who were taken off their land, sent to boarding school and forced to “convert” to being “white.” The Earth honoring clans of Europe had been slaughtered and converted long before. Our own public schools, in the United States, still do the same thing to our children today.

As I entered into the path of the healer and began doing ceremonies around the world, many indigenous people asked me, “What is your tradition? Where do you come from?” The only thing I knew is that I came from New York, the Stars, and before that Source, like everyone else. And I was American. But I couldn’t tell them about spiritual roots, heritage, ancestry, tradition, anything like that. I had no answers. Over the years I participated in more and more Indigenous ceremonies, trying to find the root, and slowly discovering the power of my own body and how it was connected to the Earth. But I watched with envy as the tribes called upon their ancestors during ceremony, connecting into some invisible strength that gave them more power. I didn’t think calling upon my own ancestors was such a great idea. They were Catholics and Protestants who went to church because they were supposed to. Anyway, my mission was to heal the trauma that had been carried down generation to generation, and frankly I thought they would just screw up the ceremony…then what would the Native Americans say?

At one gathering, and Apache elder spoke to the whites in the audience, he said, “Find your roots. You need it to get through 2012. They are in Europe. Go back and find yourselves so you can transition safely.” I wondered if he was on to something. Growing up there was absolutely no emphasis on roots. Part of being an American is not placing too much significance on your background. When my immigrant ancestors came over from Europe, they did whatever they could to assimilate, many times completely erasing all memory of their heritage.

Over the years I was given many clues to find my heritage, but there was a block within me, a pain so great at having lost the connection that getting it back meant facing the loss head on. This is a crucial thing to acknowledge. There is great pain in our disconnection from the Mother, and the only way back is by confronting it. It is also why so many are completely unable to do it.

A year ago, I asked my parents to write down the story of their families. My father really got excited and he wrote down all the scandals, secrets and lies as best he knew, breaking down my bloodline into 16ths. My dad is a great writer and has an uncanny knack for details and memory. I had heard bits and pieces of the story over the years, but seeing it all written down was like reading a mystery novel. While reading the story, I was only interested in learning about the Italian aspect of the family. I hoped that by being Italian, I might get some pigment in my skin. I kind of skipped over the other information. Treadway, my last name, is not actually a blood name. I wont go into details, but my last name should Cascio, from southern Italy. Due to “scandals,” we have no connection to that bloodline. My mother was able to tell me small details about my great grandfather while he was still in Italy. This was really exciting. His surname was Attanasio. It was hard for me to connect with the Italian line since I was so white-looking, but I was proud of it.

At about that same time I passed by a booth selling Celtic jewelry in Union Square, NYC. An overwhelming sense of longing washed over me, I stood paralyzed, wanting so badly to walk up to the booth and make a connection. But feeling the pain of the unfulfilled longing, I kept walking. I wanted the Celtic times back, but I didn’t feel any right to claim being Celtic since I wasn’t Irish. But as I confronted the wound of losing the connection from Earth and from myself and from Source over the next year, I got the courage. This year, when I walked by that same Celtic booth, I walked away with a Celtic cross and a new friend, the owner of the store, a Celtic Storyteller. I felt such a connection to the tradition it totally floored me. It was a pivotal moment.

After this encounter, I decided to revisit the document my Dad had put together for me. After carefully adding up all the 16ths of my bloodline, I was startled to discover that I was half Irish. In fact I was more Irish than Italian. I don’t know why I never knew this, it was never really talked about. I only heard about a German grandmother on my Dad’s side, so I assumed I had a lot of German, which I never wanted to tell anyone having grown up in Jewish neighborhood. But in fact I was only 1/16th German. Having Irish ancestry completely resonated.

This was the information I had been looking for all these years. Being half Irish was enough of a connection to take me into my European indigenous roots. And it snowballed from there. I began learning all about the Celtic and Druid paths. As I read up on Druidism, I was able to see that the information I received through my nightly channelings for the past two years was almost verbatim in the curriculum of Druidism. I sat stunned at what I was reading. I couldn’t believe it, because it finally felt like my body, mind and spirit all came together in a human context, a structure that could house my “brand” of spirituality. I had a tradition and I had indigenous roots. It had been there all along. Who knows for how many hundreds or thousands of years it had remained dormant in my family, but after my research, I knew it was alive and well in the world.

Now, as I sit in the great landscapes of the Southwest, I can relax into the knowledge that I have indigenous roots that speak to me naturally, that are valid that have an ancestral power, that guide me. It is another step in my spiritual path to unity, but one that made me weep for a week. I am still American, still Episcopalian, still a New Yorker, still from the Stars, and still from Source, like everyone else, but I am also a child of Mother Earth and Father Sky, expressing my love for her through a specific structure and community to which I belong. This keeps me proud of being human.

The Mayans, the Kogi, the Havasupai, the Dine, the Apache, and others have all so generously helped me to find my own Indigenous roots. They knew what was missing, and despite their history with white people, took it upon themselves to welcome me home to my roots.

These structures, rituals and traditions that each race has received and created are designed specifically to express the gifts of that race. This intelligence connects us to the circle of time, the medicine wheel, to each other, to the Earth and to God. Most of our religious holidays have been completely stripped their intelligence. The absence of our ancient practices in the modern world, and especially in the Caucasian race, are a major part of the chaos today.

So this April, at the Return of the Ancestors, I bring with me my own ancestral line, and the knowledge that there is beauty and truth to the Caucasian race. I am at the beginning of this awareness, and I hope that others can relate to the story I tell. I hope to help restore this truth, to work with others of all nations to bring humanity into balance with each other and Mother Earth once again. For what we are discovering is truly just being rediscovered and integrated into the modern backdrop of today.

Learning to Channel: Interdimensional Friendship

Over the next several years, I truly believe Planet Earth, and many who reside on her, will be joining the galactic community. This has been one of my life dreams, starting as a teenager when I lived in Cuenca, Ecuador. Our friends down there told us story after story of their close encounters of the 5th dimensional kind. My brother and I were determined to see a ship and take a ride. High in the Andes we would stand on our balcony, screaming out to dark night, begging for our Star Family to communicate with us and take us home. I’m sure they wanted to talk with us, if only to tell us we had to stay on Earth, but we simply didn’t know how to do it! Feeling rejected, we gave up after awhile.

I have spent my whole life wanting contact, and I have spent many days gazing into the sky to catch a glimpse of a UFO. It wasn’t until my last trip to Arizona, that my long held dream of seeing one came true. While driving at sunset in the desert landscape of Chino Valley, my friends and I were talking about UFO’s. I said, “If you are with me you’ll never see one. I have wanted to see one my whole life, but I think I must chase them away.” At that moment, one of my friends said, “CC, look to your left.” I looked out the window and in the distance saw what looked like to be an abnormally gigantic, shimmery, light blimp. We stopped the car. Conveniently my friend had two pairs of binoculars with her. Upon closer inspection, we could see this was no blimp. Three more appeared. They flashed in and out of view as we freaked out. I had heard about these cigar-shaped ships that patrol Earth. It was amazing. I was in a totally different state of mind than I had been at 14. By 33 I had fallen in love with Earth, humanity and the channeling process. I had been talking with interdimensional beings for years.

With Pope Benedict endorsing extraterrestrial life as part of God’s creation, England and France releasing their UFO files online and Stephen Spielberg’s latest alien-loving-Indy-adventure, don’t you get the feeling like we are being prepared for diplomatic relations with our star friends? Wouldn’t it be great if many of us were prepared to open up communication? As we move into the galactic, multidimensional community, it’s going to take more than our 3D skills to empower us. Channeling is one easy way to traverse a multidimensional reality.

There is some controversy about channeling, but from my view, it is just interdimensional friendship. Learning how to navigate relationship through the dimensions takes practice and development, much like navigating relationships in 3D. It can be challenging, but my experience is that once you figure it out, it’s a blissful breeze.

You can channel anything from your Higher Self, to deceased relatives, to angels, to guides, to plants, to crystals, to intergalactic beings, to God. It’s up to you. Direct contact with Spirit is your birthright. As a race we have mostly forgotten this, and so many of us are afraid of it. What if we talk to dark entities? What if we are taken over? What if I lose my grip on reality? Can I trust the information? I’ve heard these concerns and more, so I hope to address a few of those issues as well as lend my perspective and experience on the beauty of channeling.

WHAT IS CHANNELING?

My working definition is that channeling is relationship with Spirit. This can involve it speaking through you, to you, or you communicating to it. Channeling is a form of healing work, requiring that you learn how to tune your frequency to match your goal and requiring that you have integrity within the practice. It is there to assist you in your growth and the planet’s growth. Guides choose to work with you because of common goals. The guides and you align your purpose together to create more peace and balance in the world and universe. When you shift your vibration and intend that a guide talk to you, you are experienced as an antenna of light, requesting clearer communication. So, if you want to talk to high level guides, (which is probably a good idea) you will practice raising your vibration by powerful meditative techniques, like chakra or merkaba spinning, heart meditations, playing music or singing, or dancing with joy; anything where you can quickly enter into an altered state.

If you don’t know how to tune your frequency you could start channeling lower astral energies, deceased people, or lower level guides, who while may not be “evil” may not exactly be what you are looking for. However, if you become adept at channeling, it can be useful to talk with lower level energies to find out what they want so you can ask them to leave or help them evolve, you become their guide. You can also begin to recognize who is well intentioned and evolved and who is not. If you don’t practice, you will never learn the discernment necessary to traverse the worlds. Through practice, you will begin to understand how you operate at a higher vibrating level, and that higher vibrating you becomes integrated into your physical being. Your Higher Self becomes more of you, calling the shots. You walk in effortless alignment with your highest wisdom. Let me tell you, when your 3D reality is not in line with your Higher Self, but you are on the spiritual path, havoc can be created in order for you to learn lessons and get you on track. The more you are communicating as one with your Higher Self, the less trauma you are in for.

One thing I have learned over the years is that everyone can channel. I teach workshops regularly and no one has walked out not being able to do it. But, you must learn the way in which you communicate. Some people receive images and visual stories, some feelings, art or music, and some words. Some do a combination. Over time you can learn how to receive all ways. Your guides are working with you during your most creative moments, sending thought or feeling impulses to you to inspire you and push you to the next level. One of the most joyful experiences for me is watching my students receive this connection for the first time

HOW DO YOU REMAIN EMPOWERED WHEN CHANNELING?

There are a few great ways to do this.

1. Set your intention to be the one in charge.
2. Intend that all channeling be done through your Higher Self or Creator.
3. Intend that all guides you channel be for your highest good and development. High level guides have no interest in dominating or overtaking you.

When channeling your guides or Higher Self, the information coming through should match the frequency of your soul, providing a resonance that establishes further self contact. It is this resonance that allows you to stay present and in control, so you are not dominated by the energy you are channeling. You know you are losing contact with yourself and your guide when the channeling loses that special energy, the words are not effective, it becomes negative or you get sleepy or bored.

Some would say not to let a guide speak through you. But I would guess they never had a high level guide communicating profound words of love and even more profound frequencies of love and ecstasy through their body. Would I do that first? No, but over time, you will recognize when you can simply allow the blessed energy of a high level guide in your body and field.

THE NAME GAME: ARE MY GUIDES FAMOUS?

You wont always get a name for your guide(s). Names are not a big deal in the other dimensions and if they do give you a name, it’s most likely because it sounds right for you. It’s not something to get stuck on. But then there are the famous guides, the Ascended Masters and Angels who do like to pop in. We all like being recognized by famous people, so if they don’t just come to you, call them in! But don’t get attached to the name or reputation of your guide. Just enjoy the connection and the lessons. Unlike Hollywood, you don’t have to know someone or be famous yourself to connect with the Ascended Masters. We all are special in Creator’s eyes and deserve guidance. Taking this further, it is important to stay grounded with this work, to continue to enjoy the presence of your friends on earth. The best use for channeling is using what you’ve learned to make a better life in the physical both for yourself and humanity.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF WHAT YOU ARE CHANNELING IS REAL OR MADE UP?

At first, you don’t, and you shouldn’t expect it. You just have to practice as much as possible. Over time, you can see the areas that were accurate, and the ones that weren’t. You can remember what it felt like to channel the accurate information, and what it felt like to channel the inaccurate information. Ask questions that do not hold a lot of charge for you. In other words, if you are dying to get married and you have just met someone you are very attracted to, you probably shouldn’t start with, “Will Betty and I get married?” It’s a loaded question, you are invested in the outcome, and your emotional energy will be stronger than your clarity. Chances are you will hear, “Yes, Yes, a thousand times yes!!” Or, “No way, she’s a man eater just like all the others!” After awhile, however, you can ask these questions and expect to get good answers. You and your guides will be very familiar with each other. Of course the answers will be growth focused, so you might not hear a yes or no, but a lesson in discernment and patience.

One of the best ways to get immediate feedback is by channeling for others. My students are always surprised but how they are able to do meaningful and relevant channelings for others on their first try.

Guidance from high level guides is always uplifting and always about your growth. You will not be protected from a difficult lesson if it is the best way for you to learn it. Your Higher Self is calling the shots, so as I mentioned before, getting to know and integrate that part of you is essential for an easier ride.

DEALING WITH “LOWER LEVEL” BEINGS

Disclaimer: I do not really see things as lower and higher, its just that English doesn’t offer great alternatives and everyone understands this hierarchal setup. That being said, just like in 3D, there are all kinds out there! Better to know what to do when you encounter a being that is not for your highest good. You simply say, “No thank you,” dismiss them and raise your vibration more to attract a higher level guide. Trust your intuition on this one. High-level guides always uplift you. If you feel confused by the energy you are communicating with, better to dismiss it and raise your vibration. Again, over time you will gain the understanding of how to distinguish energies, and attune yourself accordingly. You may channel unhealed energies and you may even take them on. It’s helpful to work with a supervising healer or teacher who is more knowledgeable than you to get you through the rough spots. You will learn and become more and more empowered. I recently channeled a lower level, very angry being. I dismissed him and raised my vibration, nobody got hurt. I learned what it felt like to do that, to trust myself more and to develop more confidence. SELF CARE

Whenever you consistently raise your vibration, you need to support yourself on a physical level. You will need more nutrition, especially your minerals. Fulvic and Humic acids are the best way to re-mineralize after channeling. Exercise keeps you strong and grounded, the stronger you are, the higher the vibration you can channel. Contact with Nature keeps you energized, grounded and supported. Once you have opened up these psychic connections, you must be careful with whom you spend your time, how you manage your energy and your drug and alcohol intake should all but stop. Oftentimes when you are channeling your guide team will sneak in DNA upgrades, vibrational promotions or other healings. Be prepared to listen to your body’s needs as it handles these transitions. The most important thing is to remember that you are still a human being and so you need to pay attention to your body and your human relationships to stay grounded.

HOW TO CHANNEL

As with any spiritual teaching, it is best learned when the teaching is passed on to you in person. This is because all of the energy and protection that the teacher has, and their teachers have, comes with the technique. You will have more energy and support and it will be easier to do. So, if you have someone in your community who teaches it, go and do it. When I teach my classes, I lead people through a ceremony to meet their guide. This sets a sacred container for growth and empowerment. But, I will give a simplified version of channeling so you are aware of the general process. Technique and process will vary with different teachers and traditions.

The first step, as always, is setting sacred space and protection. I have found calling the in the directions to be the most effective methods for protection. If you do not already do this, go to a ceremony with strong Elders and have the teaching passed to you. If you channel on a daily basis, you do not always have to make a big production out of creating sacred space, it is something that you begin to carry within, and your intention can create a circle of protection quickly and effectively. Remember you will have to release the directions and close sacred space when you finish.

After creating your sacred space, use your favorite meditative practice to alter your consciousness. With your intention, call in the highest level guide to assist you in your growth at this time. Ask that this guide be approved by your Higher Self, and that it speak through your Higher Self to you. Take a pen and paper, write a question, and let your mind go as your pen begins to write the words. This is a telepathic communication, so you wont necessarily hear the words like you would in life. It’s a delicate balance of tuning out your mind and surrendering to the telepathic thought impulses, as well as staying present and empowered in your body.

As you write, the first words may come out jarbled, or poetic. Don’t judge, just keep writing. Learn how it feels to surrender to the experience without giving up your power. When it comes to your body, you call the shots. You can use your intention to call in many different types of beings and dimensions. You will find that guides will come to you and want to talk. You can try speaking the words instead of writing. More energy will flow and it’s easier to tune out your mind and enjoy the process. Guides will send thought impulses, images, memories and emotions to help you. You can sing it, play it, speak it, draw it, or create it in any medium. They use what is already in your mind to create a new perspective or lesson. So the more you grow and learn, the more they have to work with and the more energy you can handle. Then practice a lot.

You will notice when you channel that it is easy to shift your vibration. This is because your guide is sending you a boost of energy to assist in shifting your consciousness, making you more receptive to the channeling. A relationship begins to develop. Each time you channel it becomes easier and easier.

I practiced every morning for months before I could see patterns. After about two years of channeling, my healer downloaded a new technique from my guides to help me open even more. He helped create a clearer pathway and I was off and running. After that session the words flowed like a regular conversation and I began to offer one on one channeling sessions and group channelings. I was able to tune out my own personal agenda completely and ask difficult questions. More importantly, I was able to accept answers that led me in a totally different direction than I had wanted to go.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM CHANNELING

To try and summarize all that I have learned would be impossible. But, I think the coolest part of it was feeling like I was in a mystery school designed specifically for me. My Higher Self and guides taught me how to develop psychic skills and healing skills, how to shift from linear thinking to spherical thinking, they especially helped me with relationships and not defaulting into old patterns. They helped me get out of my projected idea of how the healing process should look, and showed me how it actually works for me. After a few years of channeling, I made deal with my Higher Self and guide team that they would tell me if a man was a good potential mate, since I seemed to not be able to do that myself. They meticulously told me, most of the time crushing my spirits, but they were always right and each time I learned a deeper lesson about my own patterning. What an empowering process! Now I no longer need to ask, I learned it.

They helped me develop even deeper contact with my soul, my essence and my purpose. They helped me with self-confidence in my healing practice and are always there to call on if I need spiritual supervision with clients before or after a session. Most importantly, I became confident in my unique and personal way of communicating with and relating to spirituality. I feel comforted and taken care of at all times, deeply loved, important and part of Creator’s expression. My ability to feel my own divinity has multiplied a thousand times over. I never feel alone and I trust myself.

These days my channeling has opened up to galactic service. With the presence of Star Family all around us, I already feel part of the galactic community, prepared and educated for the upcoming changes. I am able to access my direct connection to Spirit and information whenever I need, never relying on another’s words, but empowered enough in my own abilities to be able to discern what I can take in from other’s wisdom.

Channeling is your ticket to mastering how to shift your vibration to access different realities, different guides and beings and bring it all into the awareness of your heart. Instead of feeling like you are in a million places at once, it all gets reconciled in the non- dualistic, all encompassing space of the heart. You are literally experiencing the universe within. The outer becomes the inner and vice versa. To me this is freedom.

Right Brain Technology and Energy Healing

I often get asked, “Energy healing? What is that, is it like Reiki?” I explain it a little and they say, “How does that work?” It’s a big question really, so I decided to break it down in a way that could be understood by those who are interested, but perhaps still a little skeptical, or I would say, uneducated on the subject. I may be preaching to the choir for many, but I still get asked how it all works by even my old time clients.

The world we live in is dominated by left brain technology: Quantitative analysis, explanation, categorization, study, certainty, results, living for the future/upwardly mobile attitude, linear thinking and linear creative development.

Energy healing requires the development of right brained technology: Intuition, experience, the big picture, imagination, inspiration, patterns, the unknown, living in the moment, spherical thinking and spherical creative development.

Those skills cannot be explained, only experienced. Many spiritual seekers can be incredibly frustrated when they so desperately want a taste of the energy realms, but have not developed their right brain enough to let go. It’s a huge leap of faith to take and sometimes requires a series of humbling life experiences to open up to it. Like when someone has a near death experience. That usually does the trick.

We have not spent the time examining the potential of the right brain because when one hemisphere is dominant, it automatically thinks its way is the proper way. Therefore the left-brain thinks it knows best and discards the accomplishments of the right. It’s really a simple problem with a simple solution. Let us not dismiss the potential of the right brain, or underestimate what we don’t know. Both hemispheres have potential for spiritual and consciousness development and it is essential that they work together, but it is the right one in particular that gives us psychic skills and allows us access into the mystic realms.

Psychic skills and energy healing are not a mystery, nor are they proof that God exists. They are the result of a high functioning right brain. Development of those skills may require time, effort and practice. Even those with a “natural ability” need to spend time perfecting their skills. We also need a strong left-brain so we can take what we learn in our journeys and integrate them. Physics can also help clarify (and quantify if you really need to- see Nassim Haramein) many of the discoveries of the right brain.

When the Amazonian cultures began using Ayahuasca, they didn’t have a scientist in a lab develop the product, chemically reproduce it and deliver it to the surrounding villages for a fee. If you ask them, they will say their ancestors sat in a meditative state and let the vine talk to them. The vine then told them how to make the formula.

“Ha ha, that’s crazy!!!” dismisses the Left-brain,
“Its perfectly normal,” says the Right, “Duh.”

Of course, yin and yang, male and female, ebony and ivory…go together in perfect harmony. Forgive me, I can’t help it; I have seven planets in Libra in my natal chart. Yes, seven!!

I’ll never forget one time I was working as a camp counselor when I was 18. There was this one kid, about 8 yrs old, who was always disappearing, seemingly into thin air. This freaked everyone out. He was for sure a “different” kinda kid. One time he reappeared by the swing set. I asked him, “Where do you go when you disappear?” He said matter-of-factly, “ I go into to the other dimensions.” I was excited, “Well how do you get to them?” He became really flustered and said, “You go through the portals, they’re everywhere. Jeez, Why can’t any one else see them? I hate it.” That little Indigo looked so angry. I wanted to talk with him forever, but the head counselor came running over and scolded us both. To him, his reality was so obvious and he couldn’t understand how anyone could not see his way. He was right brainer, pineal and pituitary gland officially activated.

What if things like letting go, leaping into the unknown, uncertainty and imagination were skills that could be developed? It’s maddening for the left-brain to understand this. Uncertainty invalidates quantifiable results. In left-brain thinking, if there aren’t quantifiable results, it’s not valid. But uncertainty, gray area, and infinite possibilities are precisely what you need to navigate and understand to develop the right brain. Imagination and creativity is the gateway to receiving accurate psychic information. When you let go and surrender into the unknown, energy takes over and if you are comfortable there, you are content to go with the flow.

When you are in the flow, energy takes over and decides which direction things are going to go. Why does energy take over? Because when you let go and stop trying to control you will see and understand where energy is flowing naturally. Different chakras and senses open, sometimes revealing the energy to the eyes, or the ears. It’s like when you learn to surf. In order to catch the right part of the wave, you have to totally let go of your control and be in the zone of the sea. If you take a step back and observe the bigger picture, your body/energy will know exactly when to paddle and stand up to catch the wave and achieve the desired results. The senses that you need to surf that wave open up and reveal themselves to you.

If you can see, sense or know which way energy is naturally flowing with a client, you know what you are working with. You may or may not get a name like “cancer”, or “childhood abuse,” but you will know that the way the energy is flowing is contraindicated to a healthy body. However, you still do not try to “fix a problem.” From a right-brained perspective, you work with the energy of the person. One of the most important things that I learned in my training was to always see the person as their healthy self when approaching a session. This means that while the energy that is currently flowing may be creating disease, if you tap into the natural energy flow of the client when they are in a healthy state, you can work to shift the energy in that direction. This requires imagination. It’s not totally straightforward, it’s an experience. I always know when I am trying to “force” health on a client out of my own desire. The energy is not smooth, flowing and easy, it’s efforted. I’m in my left-brain, with my desire for the results more important than the process.

Of course the health of the client is not up to the healer. This brings up an interesting issue, “What if the clients energy flow of infection is stronger than the intention for health?” At that point the client needs to do personal work to help shift their belief systems to bring their energy out of disease and into health. There are infinite ways to work with belief systems. The energy of the universe will support health if the majority of the client’s energy is supporting health. Remember that the will of the client will determine the outcome of the healing. Sometimes a client wants to heal so badly, but there is more energy in their system pointing towards illness. It can take time to shift that and can be very frustrating.

If you develop your right brain, like we’ve spent all these years developing our left, your understanding of energy multiplies. Your ability to work with energy multiplies. The energy that flows through you will work in harmony with the client’s energy, shifting the balance to health. Specific techniques, skills and information will flow through you without thought. Your left-brain may write those skills down and use them again in future healings. Some days, you cannot get in the flow no matter how hard you try, and it is very useful to have a solid set of skills to fall back on. Any discipline requires its technique and my training required that we developed both sides of the brain.

There is always more to say and learn on this subject and there is always room for argument, but I hope this gives some of you left-brainers some answers!

Setting Sacred Space: The Timelessness of Tradition

Creating sacred space is one of those things that all lightworkers and healers should know about. I had excellent training at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, but that program deemphasizes lineage and tradition to create a clean slate for people all backgrounds to come in and learn. Therefore, during that time, I was not yet connected to the ancient tradition of things like calling in the seven directions. Before each healing session, I would set my intention, call in my guides, angelic protection and get to healing. This worked OK, but after traveling with Drunvalo Melchizedek from country to country and tribe to tribe, I began to notice that traditional ceremonial format was very powerful and very effortless. I started to scratch my head, “Why was doing these simple things so effective?”

During our final ceremony with Drunvalo in Easter Island last February, we made a medicine wheel. It wasn’t a very big medicine wheel, although it was a very big ceremony. We were turning on the Christ Grid. (To read about it go to http://spiritofmaat.com/mar08/easter_island_jorney.html) Drunvalo said, “Mother Earth will recognize us and know we are here as soon as we make the medicine wheel. The medicine wheel has been used by the indigenous forever!” I thought that was pretty cool, although it wasn’t the time for more questions since we were about to save the world….again!

The ceremony went off without a hitch, which was amazing after going through the two weeks that lead up to it. No matter what happened before, and what would happen after, during the ceremony we were protected.

When I got home I decided to give it a whirl. I began to make medicine wheels in my apartment during my personal ritual and calling in the directions before a day of healing work. What a difference!!! I had the support of the elements and energies of Earth as well as the energies of the Universe and Guides. I also had the support of my ancestors and the animal kingdom. My energy levels rose and I felt recognized by Creator in my healing. It was so easy, I could feel that thousands of years of performing this simple act had embedded the ritual into the fabric of the Universe. I had to know more.

We spend most of our time out of sacred space. Even if we live a very sacred lifestyle, sacred space is something all together different. In sacred space miracles can happen easily and effortlessly. This is because the energy changes, and we leave the realm of linear time and step into the Infinite. Creator is close and cause and effect gives way to immediacy.

I really wanted to see even more clearly, what happens when we call in the directions. So I turned on my 3rd eye and took a peek. As I called in each direction I saw a force field of energy come and form an energetic barrier on each side of me. I stood in the center, as the circle was cast, and was shown that I was standing in the place of no time. You could almost think of it as the universe moves like a hurricane, then all the sudden, at your command, you create a sphere of space that is completely still, unaffected by this movement, almost like Moses parting the Red Sea, and almost like being the eye of the storm. You are standing as the center, you are the center of the universe; out of time, out of harms way and in a controlled environment. You are at once totally still and moving much faster than the eye could see. You become undetectable. Even Verizon Wireless couldn’t find you there. It’s invite only, so only those beings that you invoke can enter. It’s a pretty cool place to be.

When you do spirit work, your chakras open wide, your auric field expands to perceive dimensions beyond the 3D, and you become accessible to those dimensions as well. Which way would you rather open: In a controlled, safe and sacred environment or without any protection? Literally it’s like everyone on the streets of New York City running up to you grabbing your arm or asking something of you. I’ve personally experienced that and can tell you it’s not as fun as it sounds. I hear you lovey-dovey types saying, “I want to open anywhere any time,” and I say, “Good for you, have your own experience.” I’m just sharing what I have learned.

Imagine how much more powerful and immediate your healing work is when supported by the forces of nature, with no distractions from the outside world. The whole universe lines up for you and your intention. This process should not be taken lightly, but respected for the power it offers.

I call upon the South, West, North, East, Below, Above and the Center in a clockwise manner to create my circle. I call upon my ancestors, guides, Higher Self, angels, elementals, power animals, and all my relations on Earth. Each direction has its purpose, its personality, its element and its gift. Rather than tell you exactly how to do it, I encourage you to attend ceremonies and receive it live. The process varies from tradition to tradition and finding what resonates for you makes it real. Indigenous peoples of all races have used this so don’t think because you are not Native American that you don’t have the right to access it. The Celts practice it as well as Pagans and Wiccans.

When you have finished your ceremony or healing work, you need to release the directions in a counter clockwise manner and close sacred space. This is because the sacred space needs your intention to maintain its integrity. If you just leave the space hanging after you are done, then it can get energetically messy. Over time it will probably correct itself, but there is the danger of opening up energetic holes. Also, you need to let your guests go home. One might call it disrespectful that you never officially let them out!

I continually find through my own experience that the methods used for thousands of years by our indigenous peoples have real merit in their present day application. These methods have been kept secret for a long time, but as we reclaim them, their wisdom is effortlessly revealed to us, welcoming us home to our power, our connectedness and our truth.

Healing the Abandonment Abyss, Part 1

Abandonment. For those of us who have experienced this most intense of all wounds, we know how serious it is. In this time of great economic change, of the fear of scarcity, of losing our homes and our jobs, facing abandonment is more important than ever. I have found in my practice that when it comes down to it, everyone is dealing with abandonment, whether it comes in the form of the fear of rejection, the habitual pattern of love avoidance or good old fashioned codependency and love addiction. From my observations, even those that claim to not experience it really do, it’s just more shrouded. What is so heartbreaking to see is the judgment and shame that people place on it, not knowing that their reactions are normal. It hurts to be left, but we usually internalize the rejection, making ourselves wrong and unlovable. The good news is that this universal wound is actually something manageable and healable.

One of my biggest teachers has been the abandonment wound. Coming clean with myself about it and lifting the judgment around it has been one of the most powerful healing responses for both my clients and myself. I continue to grow and learn from it. The fact is codependency is the model we are given for relationship, so its not just the super wounded who need to look at it. However, people who have had early childhood abandonment or abuse will have a more difficult time coping with it as an adult, and yet their system will be patterned for it, so they may find they are reliving brutal rejection and mistreatment time after time, with no tools and no hope to recover or change. Some events that can trigger this old and unhealed wound are a breakup, a death, being fired, a friendship suddenly ending or an intimate partner or friend who is emotionally unavailable. As a healer and a human, I wanted to dive as deeply into the healing of this wound as I could.

Years ago, after experiencing it so many times, I completely devoted myself to healing it. I was sick of feeling awful and powerless. I spent five full months tracking when feelings of abandonment would surface. Sometimes it was triggered by an event as simple as saying goodbye to a friend after a movie, other times it would just come over me with no warning. Mostly it was triggered by the loss of a relationship and what that said about my ability to trust myself, and as it turned out, God. When you get hit by that wound, the mildest reaction is just feeling a bit of sad, lonely discomfort. The most intense reaction is that you feel as though you are completely lost and alone and you must be fed by an external source to survive, addictive feelings begin to control you. It feels like there is nothing supporting you, and nothing to fall back on. It feels like every person in your life doesn’t love you enough or the right way. You begin to try and control your environment and monitor other’s behaviors. It is unhealed child consciousness at its strongest. You must find a primary care giver or you will die. That is the intensity of the emotion. Sick of trying to cover it up, I finally had to surrender to the experience. I wanted to know just how much it was controlling me. I knew that I would be healing it on a deeper level rather than just applying coping mechanisms, or talking myself out of it.

The material I used at that time to get to the core of the wound was a very devastating breakup. One I was having a difficult time moving on from. I just could not heal it and I was mystified that I couldn’t. I felt an emptiness and hopelessness inside that was unending and inconsolable. Taking responsibility for and confronting the abandonment wound is saying that you are willing to face your deepest fear, your deepest pain. While many things happened in my life to assist in healing this pain, it was my unyielding commitment to the process that brought that about.

In those moments where the pain would hit me, I would just sit with myself as the adult, caring witness. I found myself in a deep, black abyss of nothing. It was petrifying at first. And then my child consciousness would appear, crying her eyes out. At the same time that my child consciousness suffered, blamed and cried, my adult consciousness would witness with infinite love, patience and understanding. I had to be strong. I did this again and again and again. One time I had to do it for almost three days straight. It was not easy at all, in fact one of the hardest things I have ever done, but I did not let my child take over by affecting my adult behavior. I did not let her “go to the empty well for a drink” as my healer would say. The empty well would be something like trying to get attention from my ex-boyfriend, even if it was ultimately unsatisfying and hurtful. It would have been reaching for ice cream, or talking on the phone non-stop, or not taking responsibility and blaming him. For others it might be drugs, cigarettes or meaningless sex. Without those vices, I found myself getting to the ultimate wounds- first, abandonment by parents and all the psychology around that, and then inevitably, abandonment by God. That pain was the core, it was unbearable, it was gut wrenching. I felt I had been rejected and betrayed by God, that I didn’t matter at all, the pain was excruciating. I had no choice but to sit with those feelings, to really feel them, to let them out, to hear them.

I sat with this pain a lot. I wanted to be completely unafraid of it. And after some time it was enough. A huge relief washed over me. It was like the weight of the world lifted out of me, making room for the warm, comforting presence of the Divine. It happened automatically, with no preconceived idea that it would. I was overjoyed and felt so cared for. I could feel God within me, filling me, healing me. That was what I really wanted. The abandonment abyss is what most people are doing anything to avoid, but the truth is, if you face it, it passes. And once you get through it, it gets easier and easier.

Now, the interesting thing is that abandonment has become my ally. Whenever it gets triggered, and it still gets triggered, an instant self love reaction takes place. I had no idea this would happen. Each time I am able to touch deeper parts of the beloved within. The best part is that it’s no one else’s responsibility, so I’ve got the power. In these difficult economic times we are all being challenged. Not only are we feeling our own fear, but we are feeling the fear of the world. Trusting that we are loved and cared for in the midst of this chaos takes this practice to a whole new level. It’s challenging, but it’s the only way I know to feel safe.

The other great thing about abandonment is creativity. The best tool we can have right now is our creativity. We will need it to navigate the new world. As our dependency on a corrupt system is crumbling, we need to create the new. Songs, writing, drawing, new business based on love…. all can fill up that seemingly empty void and there is enough for all. Abandonment Is a Creative Tool

You hold a lot of power as you honor yourself, as you love all parts of yourself. For so long you have tried to eradicate abandonment and now what you are doing is just simply letting go of the idea that it is wrong, it is a gift of story for you as a human, it is a great teacher and there is infinite space and colors in the wound of abandonment. Can you feel the limitless possibilities of creation in the space of abandonment? Can you feel that within yourself - how profound a feeling it is to sit in that space of longing, of emptiness, of pain that seems to stretch as wide as you could possibly fee? Well it is no accident, it is Creators choice, your choice to experience this pain and create within it. There are so many possibilities in life but this vacancy is the abyss. This vacancy is the abyss. And so as you bring forth your creations in this void of voids, you heal, you make more room for yourself, for your expansion, for your colors, for your music, and as you bring in the creativity, divine love pours from your soul, reminding you of who you are, reminding you that this is all temporary and it is a gift. For creativity is divine. It is direct food, the elixir of your being. Feel the gratitude for such a unique expression of who you are, for such a deep experience of your fullness, your completeness in the vacancy. Do not fear this place, but use it now. Use it to heal. For you understand now, that it is not just there to torture you but to serve you into your highest potential. The abandonment wound opens up limitless space for your creations, for you. You can bring in the love, let it shower the pain, let it heal the pain, but only when you accept that this emptiness, this loneliness is there as a gift to serve you as a human can you experience the joy of being abandoned, only to discover you are more than you were before. I know what you are thinking, “How could that be joyful?” but we tell you, humanity is just simply irreplaceable, impossible to replicate, it’s perfect. Thank yourself for choosing this crazy pain, this crazy bliss and create within it.

So the next time you feel someone has left you, the next time you feel you need someone else to fill that empty hole, make it bigger, make that pain as big and wide as you can and start to create. Fill it up, paint the canvas, pick up the guitar, cook a meal, or simply feel every particle of your being expand. This is experiential, you must try it. There is purpose in every experience here. Don’t waste it. Let it fill you, let it be you, choose it again and again, every day. Choose your creative longing to expand within. Choose your humanity. Be proud of who you are, even in your darkest moments you are so brave to live this challenge. We sit in awe of your strength, of your efforts, of your potential.

In Part Two I will go deeper into the chakra system and how it relates to abandonment. I will share some energetic modeling tools that can be immediately applied to heal the wound and talk more specifically about creating in the new world.

Healing the Abandonment Abyss, Part 2

In the last article I went into the importance of dealing with the pain of abandonment. In this article I will go into more detail with the chakra system of the healing process.

The most important thing about healing abandonment is that you have to admit you have a problem. Many people are defending against this pain so much that they cannot even get to it. But if you continually feel empty, like you need to fill a void with something, you have an abandonment wound. An abandonment wound can lead you to substance abuse, to emotional detachment, inability to commit in relationship or over-dependence on another to give meaning to your own life. Its actually easier to heal a wound that manifests as dependence, than avoidance, because at least an emotionally codependent person is in touch with their feelings, admitting they have needs. The avoider will deny they have any needs, and will simply bypass the emotional body by filling the space immediately. They reject people, but at the same time have a very difficult time letting anyone out of their life completely. It’s torturous on the person semi-rejected. It is also possible to swing back and forth between these two types.

Dean Ramsden (deanramsden.com), founder of Relational Energy Healing, has taught me a lot about this wounding and how it is reflected in the energy field. To paraphrase him:

During the formation of the second chakra, the child is supposed to be modeled its own self. When a parent abandons, or does not nurture and reflect the child’s individuality, the child makes the decision to release its energy from its body and merge with the parent, beginning a life long pattern of meeting the parent’s needs to feel itself. It therefore merges its identity with the parent.

Hence, codependence. If this pattern continues through life then the codependent will look at itself or its partner as a parent, and not be able to feel its own self unless it is merged in the relationship. Loss of the relationship can be devastating, and recovering the sense of self may take a lot of time and patience. Whereas a healthy person will recover from the breakup in the normal phases, a person who has suffered this wounding may never recover, but carry that pain with them through their life, never daring to enter into another relationship, or continually entering relationships that do not satisfy or nurture, but rewound. They may also hang on to the memory of the last relationship in an effort to avoid the total loss of self.

Many people just do not want to admit they do this, and would rather stay in blame. You know the type, the one that constantly talks about the horrible things their ex did to them, and how they were the victim. They also may never leave the relationship and just complain about it for the rest of their lives. While its normal to learn from relationships and blame can come into the picture, it should be a phase that ends, giving way to self-responsibility and healing.

What I find in the spiritual communities, is that in order to avoid dealing with this, we “spiritualize” the relationship. “He’s a soulmate!” “A psychic told me we would be together forever, so I have to stay with him.” “I need to finish my karma with her.” All of these things may be true, but healing it will require addressing some basic psychological and emotional stuff, as well as some mastery in the energy realm.

A codependent, or anyone who feels the pain of abandonment, is ready to heal when they get tired of blame, sink into the misery of the pain, and ask for help. I do believe the 12 step programs are very good and often recommend clients go there. But I also believe there are things that a trained energy healer can do to speed up the process of healing, provided the client is ready and willing.

USING CHAKRA SYSTEM IN HEALING PROCESS

While it is necessary to work with all the chakras in any healing process, I will go specifically into chakras two and three.

Redevelopment of Second Chakra: “I Recognize Myself”

While all the chakras will be addressed in any healing process, the second chakra is usually the main player at first. This chakra never learned how to experience its own self and have it be reflected in the world. That sucks!!!

This is what I do with my clients, although I want to give Dean Ramsden and another great healer, Joy Adler (joyadler.com), the credit they deserve for teaching me most of it. And back to their teachers, Barbara Brennan, Rosalyn Bruyere and on and on. I call it energy modeling. I sit with my client and ask them to feel their own self. I assist them by helping them find a time in their life, or a place where they felt totally safe to be themselves. 100% of the time these clients choose a time where they are alone. That’s because truthfully, they have never experienced their true self in the company of another. I ask them to recognize how this feels in their body. When they are feeling all warm and fuzzy, I remind them of my presence. Almost immediately their field shifts into their habitual pattern: their energy leaves their own body and comes towards me. But I do something different than what they are used to. I put up an energy boundary and do not take in their energy and merge. For some clients this can be very scary. It feels like rejection. But what they see over time is that I am not rejecting, I am actually staying in loving witness mode for their essence. I coach them to bring their energy back into their system and take in the reflection I am offering without trying to take my energy.

Almost always this is a huge awakening. It was for me the first time it was done for me. The difference is, instead of the excitement and rush of merging with another or the child trying through its habitual way to get love it always wanted from the parent, the feeling is just getting to be yourself. Now for some people this is a huge adjustment of thought, “What fun is that? How will I know if I like them if I do not feel a huge intense bolt of lightening?” Dean once asked me, “Are you confusing intensity with love?” Perhaps...

For a healthy, long lasting relationship, getting to be yourself is the most important element. The love that grows from this healthy foundation is solid, lasting and exiting in a whole new way.

Redevelopment of Third Chakra: “I Respect Myself”
The third chakra has a lot to do with willpower. If you do not have a healthy sense of self, and self respect, then your third chakra will probably need a lot of work. The front aspect of the third chakra can be about your self-respect and how you give to others. The back is about your self-care, how you give to yourself. Some people have very large third chakras in the front, and teeny weeny ones in the back. This is usually because they are caretaking others…to avoid facing abandonment. They easily allow others to hook into their energy and become drained when they give. This can be a conundrum because giving in itself feels good, but when it is done from a place of caretaking, it is draining to the field. Then the caretaker will inevitably need to recharge either with solitude or by draining someone else’s field.

It is very difficult for people with distorted third chakras to say no. Learning good boundaries is essential for recovery. Reconstructing the third chakra and teaching someone how to give and receive from Source is a huge part of the healing process. For someone with addiction problems, healing third chakra issues is essential for developing healthy self-esteem and willpower. I have witnessed addicts literally lose all sense of self and willpower when they are around others who are involved in addictive behaviors. Their third chakras get large, lose their form and they get totally caught up in the group field of “the addict,” no longer able to experience their own self or thoughts. Like a robot they end up using again. The 12 step programs insist that recovering addicts surround themselves with healthy environments and there is deep wisdom in that. It takes doing that over and over to retrain the emotional and energetic bodies to respond to people and environments that are truly beneficial.

Briefly, here is some of the work that gets done with the other chakras:

First chakra: “I have enough.” Deeply connecting with Mother Earth, healing root cords to birth parents. Feeling safe, supported and taken care of on Earth.
Fourth chakra: “I am filled.” Feeling safe to really love, feeling safe enough to feel heartbreak and childhood wounds. Experiencing Divine Love in relationships.
Fifth chakra: “I trust.” Learning to receive, trust Divine, and dropping control in relationships and life.
Sixth chakra: “I see the truth.” Replacing projected thoughts with truth. Seeing through the veil of truth as opposed to childhood wounds. Creating from that truth.
Seventh chakra: “I am the Divine.” Grounding Divine energies into body. Being strong enough to face real pain of Divine separation and not “spiritual bypass.” Learning true Divine Connection as a human.

APPLYING THESE CONCEPTS TO BIGGER PICTURE

Right now humanity is being deeply tested as it goes through major transition and a worldwide economic collapse. I thank Creator every day for the lessons that people, including myself, are learning, difficult as they are. We are a people dependent upon relationship systems that are no longer functioning. On a grand scale, our dependence on the “system” is just a big codependent relationship. And we have all said, on some level, “Enough! I want my power! I want real love, I want my life to be based on truth!” It does say on the dollar bill, “In God We Trust.” That is where we are headed. And it’s a wonderful process.

Breaking our dependency on the “system” is like breaking our dependency on anything that doesn’t serve us: Exciting, terrifying, uncertain, destabilizing, hopeful. It’s a major breakup, and for some a major heartbreak. It is not easy. It certainly hasn’t been easy for me. You don’t have to lose all your money to feel what is happening, because it’s not about money, it’s about healing a massive, unhealthy codependency and coming into deep love and trust. It will require a leap of faith into the abandonment abyss to inevitably be caught in the arms of the Divine.

Despite all the conspiracy theories out there, and the massive Earth changes that could occur, I believe what comes next is a better system. We are coming together as a planet to create a system that works for Earth and for us… and I am on board.

Spiritual Dating, Part 2

How can I sink deeper into this life experience? How can I feel my self as Nature herself and wake up each morning in her arms?

This is the question I asked myself each day as I longed for a partner at the same time. I would call it the intimacy with life. The longing for relationship is connected to this longing, of returning to the essence of life. And so, as I would beg and plead the universe for both a partner and this intimacy with life, I was given the opportunity to heal all that I needed to have both.

For the spiritual person, the connection to Spirit is unarguably the most important thing. But learning to ground all that spiritual energy in the physical reality is the mission. Feeling God on Earth, for me is the point. Were we to just be our spiritual energy we wouldn’t have incarnated. There is purpose to this physical and often painful life. The sooner that is understood and embraced the sooner those of us perpetually-homesick-for -Source types can be happy here.

Our longing to bring Source into the physical matches the longing for relationship. Relationship will teach us, whether we like it or not, how to be physical. There is sex for one: pure union of the Divine with two bodies, and sometimes, just plain ol’ sex. There are “shared finances” which requires one to step out of denial and deal. There is cultivating the relationship on the emotional level. Our shadow sides are revealed and the most perfect spiritual people are two years old throwing a temper tantrum! “What just happened? We know better!” But we don’t. We have to go through it and learn, step by step, how to bring all that wise spiritual energy into this dense, primordial form, and into the sacred space of relationship. It’s challenging, it’s humbling, it’s worth it.

A few years ago, I thought I had found this intimacy with life in a partner. This kind of all consuming love embraced my cells like I imagined God would if “he” ever found me. This man was my heroin. He took me in and spit me out over and over as dramatically as if I were shooting up. The tragic heartbreak that ended that relationship sent me into the deepest emptiness I’ve ever known. I was a junky who’s drug had disappeared and I needed to clean up. In that bottomless abandonment pain I allowed God in. How does the heart recover and find love again? How do we reconcile our spiritual ideals with our human condition? It’s a conundrum, and sometimes it just plain sucks. Let me share with you a little about what it took me to heal and bring in a partner, while suggesting what I think are good tips for entering into a partnership. There’s no formula, but there are definitely some tips that I have found to really help people.

Tip #1
USE SPIRITUAL CONNECTION TO YOUR ADVANTAGE
Spiritual people cannot deny their spiritual connection, but it must lead us deeper into life, not further away into fantasy. When I had my heart broken, and everyone has their own version of that, I lost faith. I lost faith in my ability to know what was right for me, I lost faith in my healers who didn’t foresee this outcome and save me from it. I lost faith in Spirit. It was horrible. My whole system for the way I lived my life broke down. I just wanted to be alone in my apartment, doing my healing work or with very good friends. I decided to further develop my channeling abilities. I wanted my guidance to be foolproof so this would never happen again. That may seem unreasonable, but I was very serious. I tirelessly channeled every day for two years. I got good. I had almost a100% accuracy with my personal channelings. I learned to trust myself because I had courageously brought in my spiritual connection to the physical form. Following my “gut” or “reading the signs” always lead me in the wrong direction. Really. I had to admit I didn’t know what I was doing. My Higher Self’s romantic guidance was almost always in complete opposition to my “instincts” which I now know were just unhealed childhood trauma energy.

Every time I had a new man interest I would run my choice by my Higher Self and guide team. For two years they said “No” to every one. I’m not kidding. But they assured me one day I would be interested in the right type of person, and would, on occasion give me glimpses into who he was. They coached me on healing my abandonment pain, they helped me get out of needing a definite outcome and living life day to day. They helped me build my healing practice and be filled by my life. They helped me shift enough to leave Manhattan and move to Sedona.

In the case of trying to move out of New York, nothing was working out. There was no prospective work in Sedona, I couldn’t sell or sublet my apartment and the economy was tanking. My longing was screaming at me to go. I wanted nature, community and romance, but there was nothing making it easy for me, no signs. I figured I must be mistaken and I should stay in New York. But one day my Higher Self told me I better pack up my things and go by December 18th – which was two weeks away. I was so mad but I did it. Financially, I don’t think I have ever made a worse decision, but I was wiling to do what it took to change my life. While I was filled to the brim with the Divine, I was so sick of my human solitude. I left and within days of landing was seeing my new partner.

Let me be clear, when I met him, my gut said, “No way. Too many issues.” I thought by now I had figured it out, but I channeled about him just to be sure, and was completely surprised when it was suggested to give him a chance. In fact, he got a glowing recommendation. I really thought my guide team was messing with me. But as the weeks went by I was proved wrong. I had met a truly kind man, dedicated to growth, dedicated to relationship and crazy about me. Not only that I was hiking every day and relaxing in Mother Nature’s arms -I was/am living my dream.

So, while I was avoiding social contact because of my pain, I was using my safety net, my spiritual connection, to my advantage. Sometimes you just have to admit where you are clueless as a human being to allow a higher power to help you. I changed my whole life to have the kind of relationship and lifestyle I had been dreaming of for over 10 years.

Tip #2
GET PROFESSIONAL HELP

If you keep making the same mistakes over and over in relationship but still wake up every day aching for it, get help from a professional, experienced relationship therapist or healer- not just a psychic or best friend! If a healer tells you they can deprogram all your blocks to relationship in one session I would politely excuse yourself. There’s no guaranteed timeline for success, but working with a specialist will make it a lot faster. Be willing to admit you might have codependency, love addiction, love avoidance or some other “diagnosable” issue that can be addressed and healed practically. Believe me if you knew what you were doing you would be in a happy relationship already. Before finding the right therapist I removed curses, deprogrammed beliefs, cut cords, retrieved soul parts, yadayadayada. I’d probably do it all again, but not until I dealt with psychological issues did I actually stop making the same mistake that destroyed every past relationship.

I am in deep gratitude for those professionals who helped me. I went around for years defending my run of the mill emotional issues with spiritual grandeur. When I finally was ready to give that up, it was relatively quick process. I was codependent, I had a big abandonment wound, no biggie, most people do. But all the healings in the world were not going to teach me to do it differently. I needed someone very skilled with these issues. As a very spiritual person, I worked with highly experienced relationship therapists who were also energy savvy. I learned basic relationship tools and skills, what to look for, what my downfall was, how to attract the right person and concrete exercises to heal codependency. In the meantime, there was no shortage of magical healings in my life to help with the process. While I mess up all the time in my relationship, it’s no longer a soap opera. Since doing that work, relationship is emotionally manageable.

Tip #3
BE WILLING TO STEP OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

Your comfort zone is keeping you stuck in your pattern. Your comfort zone is so safe and yummy you don’t even know you should step out of it! What you are afraid of is precisely what you need to do to have a more intimate life. My comfort zone was my perfect apartment, my perfect career and my solitary spiritual life. It was an incredibly controlled environment. I really didn’t know what life looked like without it, but I deeply felt it existed and that’s where I should be.

Leaving a successful career to live a simple life in Nature in the middle of Arizona would be at best a stupid decision and at worst a complete betrayal, according to my father. So, just so I would really get the lesson, a few months after moving to Sedona, my back completely went out and I could not walk for almost a month. The pain was worse than anything I had ever known. It took me three hours each morning of screaming to get to the bathroom. My financial situation went from terrible to catastrophic. My perfect credit was destroyed, I couldn’t pay my mortgage because I couldn’t work, had spent everything on moving and my subletter defaulted on the rent. I was in too much pain to channel and I was in culture shock. The qualities that were respected in New York were rejected in Sedona. Stressed would be too mild of a concept for what I was experiencing. What a crash course for this independent New Yorker. I was dependent emotionally, financially and physically on other people. It was hell. I had no home, no career, no spiritual life, no control, but I had a man!! I had to laugh (after crying…a lot), my life had done a complete 180.

One thing I have noticed about not having money is that it can bring you closer to Nature. I wouldn’t say its necessary to be broke to do that but it has stimulated us to grow our own food and learn to fish. This makes me feel very connected and very supported. I brought in a man who spent almost two years living in the woods, so I am learning a lot! I am almost never alone now. I’m learning to count on being provided for by people, by nature, by partnership as well as by me. Whether I like it or not I am breaking my dependency on the system, and the system is crashing, so I think it’s a good thing. At the same time the universe is beginning to support my commitment to my new life. My apartment finally sold, work opportunities are popping up and my back is healing.

Tip #4
DROP YOUR EXPECTATIONS THAT A RELATIONSHIP WILL BRING YOU BACK HOME TO SOURCE

That’s a lot of pressure. Chances are you will have to have that experience before bringing in a partner. If your partner is responsible for bringing you to Source, what happens if they leave? Horrendous, inconsolable pain! Either Ester Hicks (Abraham) or my Higher Self once said, “Your partner is not your source for Source. Source is your source for Source.” Your longing for relationship will bring you back to Source before you meet someone. Then it becomes less important that they give you that. If you know how to get there, and your partner knows how to get there, being there together will happen naturally. Be willing instead to have relationship bring you out of Source. It’s how you manage being disconnected that shows the true colors of a relationship.

By the time I met my partner, I was united with the Divine. I had reached that place of feeling fulfilled, but still desiring partnership. It was my search for this partner that got me there and my trust in the Divine that made me leave my NYC life with two weeks notice.

Tip #5
STOP CHANNELING AND GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!

Meditating, visualizing and manifesting exercises are all good. Then get out of the house and go somewhere where there will be actual men or women who share common interests. You need practice in relating with the opposite sex, and you need to create opportunities to meet someone. If you know you are socially uncomfortable, then do things that make it easier for you. One of the reasons I moved to a smaller town is because I have a hard time with city social environments. I know that if I run into the same person over and over I will easily get to know them, whereas if I just meet them once at a crowded party I might shut down and kill any follow up potential. I need my environment to make it easy for me. Not everyone is like that. I have this friend who is a social master. Plop her anywhere and she has friends, love interests and business contacts. She always amazes me. Be realistic about who you are and what you need. Make it easy on yourself, but don’t stay home every night.

If you want a spiritual guy, make it easy on your guide team by going places the opposite sex will be: sweat lodges, meditation groups, any spiritually oriented event. But make sure you go to the kind that the opposite sex will be at. So for women who want men, go to spiritual events that involve masculine energy: anything physical, earthy or aggressive like the martial arts. For men go to the feelings circles, yoga or movement classes. You get the idea. Then get used to the idea that your partner will actually be of the opposite sex and unless you are gay you will have to deal with that ongoingly! As I mentioned in the last article, understanding the polarity issues are key in any relationship, spiritual or not.

Well I hope this sharing has helped some of you!! Sometimes I feel funny handing out advice, but I know I was so grateful to receive it when I did. My relationship is a day-by-day experiment with no guaranteed outcome, but I’m in the game and it’s fun. Good luck to all you romantics, if I can do it, you can too!

Spiritual Dating, Part 1

Ah yes, we get to a certain level of evolution of our selves and we say, “No more of this 3-D stuff, I want a SOULMATE, or better yet a TWIN FLAME!!!” The quest for the ideal mate becomes a soul mission.

If you have been doing your spiritual work, and you are over 30, you probably don’t want to go to bars. You probably don’t ever want to go on another date. You just want to meet the right person and meditate together….forever (sigh). The idea of a soulmate sounds really good. So you begin your quest to find your spiritual partner.

Some of the lucky ones meet someone right away. Good karma. Others find a whole new set of problems that repeat themselves in the “spiritual dating scene” or lack of one. First off, for the women, “Where are all the freakin’ men??” They are not at yoga, healing class, or your “feel your feelings” group. For the few men that do go to these events, “Look at all these open women, and I am their only option!! Why choose just one, when I can sample them all!” Or, and I see this a lot, the monogamous and ready ones find someone very fast. And just like that they are gone.

All the same, embarking on spiritual dating journey can be very fun. It’s exciting to think of the possibilities, and bringing in a true partner to share your life is a worthwhile endeavor. It also can be a huge motivator for growth. But the more intense the connection, the more mature you have to be to create a sustained relationship. That means the more practical and down to earth you must be to deal with life’s challenges together. At the end of the day a spiritual relationship is really just a relationship.

Pitfall #1
OVER-SPIRITUALIZING RELATIONSHIP

I once went out on a date with a very spiritual man. He took me to get falafel at the cheapest restaurant on the block. He didn’t pay for me. Then afterwards he took me to the corner store to go get a lottery ticket for himself, claiming he had almost become psychic enough to win the lottery. My spiritual ideals told me it was totally possible that he could develop this skill, but I kid you not my ovaries retracted. I had a real biological rejection happen in that moment. This illustrates the basic problem with the first phase of spiritual dating….over-spiritualizing life while ignoring basic needs.

Lets face it, those of us that are connected to spirit really believe in it and feel it. In some ways the ecstasy of connecting in this way does make the physical seem mundane and unimportant. After all, spirit provides. I do believe that, but there’s a thin line between letting spirit provide and being caught in a delusional fantasy.

Here’s the classic setup of our time: Spiritual woman meets spiritual guy. He has no money, she does. She tries not to let this bother her, it does. He tries to make believe it doesn’t bother him, it does. He won’t work because he is exploring spirituality and he’d rather stick it to “the Man” than be the man. She admires his spiritual fire, independent thinking and openness, but becomes stressed out because her body is telling her she cannot bring a child into the world without some security. She doesn’t want to admit that. He has a hard time committing to her, because deep down he feels no purpose, is emasculated by the fact that she is the provider and he’d like someone more feminine. He doesn’t want to admit that.

Instead of breaking up and bitching that he was a scrub, and that you have to find someone who has their shit together, or for the man, instead of concluding that you just aren’t ready for a monogamous relationship because you have to find yourself, acknowledge that this situation is a potential evolutionary step. By getting in touch with your primal needs and working with them to integrate with your spiritual work, you can enter a true bliss state only possible in the physical. The truth is, if you were actually at the vibratory level of bringing in a wealthy, evolved spiritual man, or an open, surrendered feminine woman, you would have. So work with what you got if at all possible. There is room for a lot of growth here. This leads us to number two.

Pitfall#2
CONFUSING GENDER ROLES/FEMINIZING SPIRITUALITY

When I signed up for healing school many years ago, I was convinced I would meet my soulmate there. But when I arrived, there were 10 women to every man. Can you feel me ladies? If you took out the gay ones, it pushed it to like 20:1. That really depressed me. I thought, “Why on earth is all the marketing for this school done in shades of purple? Are they purposely trying to alienate men?” After four years in that school, brilliant as it was, I was convinced they didn’t see this imbalanced ratio as a problem and were fine with alienating men. I understand that at the time of the school’s inception, it was more important to make a space for women, but I wanted to meet my partner! All that purple and all those emotions constantly being expressed drove them away. I left the school soulmate-less and single.

I think this is a shadow issue with new age spirituality in general: over-feminizing the spiritual. This means that spiritual men are expected to act more feminine when exploring spiritual territory, and the masculine is considered unevolved. It is a reaction to the patriarchal system, not an evolved spiritual state for men. The more they feminize, the less we want them and the less they want us! And many of us have ceased to recognize what is truly masculine. Even many men have forgotten. Men don’t want to work or commit and women keep attracting these spiritual/feminine types because they are looking for a spiritual relationship and feminism has taught them that the masculine is wrong. Feminism has also taught them that they need to be the man. It’s very confusing. I wouldn’t trade feminism, but like all things, it’s a step, not a destination. Luckily, brilliant work has been done on this subject. I won’t repeat what these experts have said, only that a harmonious relationship requires an agreement of masculine/feminine roles that will blow our post-feminist beliefs out of the water.

Read David Deida books or do some of his workshops. The information he presents is every spiritual persons relationship dream they don’t even know they are having. Then read books like “Getting to I Do” by Pat Allen and Sandra Harmon and a surprisingly practical ebook called “Catch Him and Keep Him,” by Christian Carter. Cheezy titles, uncomfortable information, but lets face it, spiritual couples and singles need help. You can throw out whatever doesn’t work for you in the books, but for me and for my clients, the information has been invaluable. All of these books say what ancient spiritual traditions say in western language. Native cultures understand the polarity of the sexes and work with them. This information alone could save a dying relationship.

The few guys that were at healing school loved to all hang out and do guy stuff. They had their men’s group, I was dying to know how it all worked for them, but it was forbidden. On the off hours, they did a lot of guy stuff, like compare penis sizes, look at Playboy and declare the evenings, “feelings-free.” “How barbaric!” I thought, as I did anything I could to hang out with them.

Pitfall #3
PAST-LIFE PROJECTION

I actually dated one of the few healing school guys. He was beautiful, deep, spiritual, indecisive, non-committal and confused. Intoxicating. Many women in the school were “in love” with him. One by one they would somehow manage to tell him they had had a past life together and that’s why their connection was so strong. This upset him. He didn’t know who was really his friend, or who was projecting. It didn’t feel real. My attitude about past life loves is that they are exes, like any other, not a green light to give it another go. Of course, he appreciated my practical attitude and pursued me. After a few weeks with him, we were both convinced we were soulmates, maybe even twinflames, the one we had been waiting for, just like all the psychics said! A passionate, spiritual and dramatic love affair followed.

After that ended in crushing heartbreak, I admitted that my spiritual ideals of what a relationship should like was a bunch of crap. I knew I was missing some basics. A good relationship can be made with a soulmate, a twinflame or someone you have absolutely no history with at all. I wouldn’t get stuck on the soulmate part, I would aim for the good relationship with the most compatible partner. I would take some tips from people in regular ol’ relationships who are making it work.

Pitfall#4
SPIRITUAL PERFECTIONISM AND IDEALS

If you keep attracting someone you consider under-evolved, then you are not meeting your own standards of evolution. Period. Either evolve more, or let up on yourself so you can bring in someone as imperfect as you, then grow together.

Spiritual people and perfection: it’s a killer!! You know these types. They preach love as their religon. It’s like the New Age Love Mafia. The pressure to say the right, loving thing at all times is as suffocating as Sunday school at a Pentecostal church. I can feel my inner bitch ready to shake down. No one can be loving and nice all the time, its just dishonest. There has to be room for the more ugly emotions and the willingness to work through them. If you don’t learn how to see in dark, you will be blind. This is a spiritual relationship killer. People who are trying so hard to be perfect will have no idea how to deal with the variables that combining your life with another human inevitably presents. Relationship is messy and imperfect. Your partner is going to mess up…a lot. And so will you. The other side of perfectionism is constantly feeling like you have to heal, grow, or work harder to become better so you attract a “healed man.” What does that even look like anyway?

Although I always had too much attitude to join the New Age Love Mafia, I really had the perfection bug. I spent years tirelessly working on myself so he would magically appear, totally healed and ready (so I would never be hurt again). He finally showed up one day…in the form of a woman and a man around my parent’s age. What the hell? Inadvertently, I had manifested my ideal parents. And I was head over heals in love!!! I absolutely adored my new parents. I was surprised, but recognized this was what I needed all along. And this was why every relationship prior had been a bust. I was forever mourning the loss of my parental unit (divorce). When I really let myself grieve that, I then brought in “ideal” parents who were still together to help me heal and mature so I could stop recreating the trauma. I learned so much from them, and they continue to be role models and dear friends.

Trying to heal parental wounds through relationships can be a slippery slope. If you still have a lot of healing to do, you will probably just recreate the trauma. Spiritual people are just as vulnerable to this as anyone else. The tricky part is that the intensity of these wounded relationships creates a connection that can be mistaken for a soulmate. Maybe they are, but this adds a whole new level of pressure and pain when things don’t go well. For a very spiritual person this can be a huge disillusionment into their humanity.

After meeting my spiritual parents, I soaked in a lot of care that I desperately needed. That inner child needed her parents back together so badly! I began to work with relationship therapist. He asked me to write down everything I wanted in a man and email it to him. After reading my list he said, “Are you looking for a 60 year old man?” (I was 32). I said, “Noooooooo, although that would explain the new parents.” He said, “Then your list is unrealistic.” That was a relief. My ideal man did feel unachievable, but the manifesting books all said to write everything down. However, with the love and care from my spiritual parents, I no longer needed my partner to be perfect (so I would never be hurt again). I was free to bring in a partner that was actually human, flawed and my age. This healer also nailed me on codependency and over-spiritualizing, and gave me real, practical, tools for creating and sustaining a relationship.

After that, it took me a little less than a year to bring in a great partner. In the next article I will share a little about that and give practical tips to assist in meeting and creating a good relationship.

Taking Back Our Health with the Plants and Trees

I have very fond memories of going to the doctor when I was younger. It was always some nice man who let me cry while he stuck a light into my ear, pricked my finger and stuck a shot in my arm. It was pretty simple, over quickly and my Mom comforted me as we went home. This was just the way it was, and looking back those were really good times. Because the situation has gotten dyer as the FDA, pharmaceuticals and others romance doctors, school systems and companies to play by their rules. As the pressure from them gets more intense, we are all simultaneously waking up from a deep sleep. Consciousness is evolving, and if we really stop and think, this dependency upon large companies to cure us only began at about World War II, with the invention of penicillin. The problem, however, has grown, in that we have allowed companies to work their way through government policy to get away with what they are doing. Patenting genetically modified seeds, destroying plant diversity, forcing vaccine’s for the common flu, and attempting to eradicate the sacred from ancient culture’s food cultivation. These are only a fraction of the problem. It’s a battle for control of the planet, and it is time that the people said, “No thank you,” and took back their power.

I am extremely passionate about this mission because I did not grow up dependent on these drugs, and see no reason why I, or anyone should be. My mother had a standard vitamin and healthy food routine that usually prevented us from catching every flu or illness. She was a pioneer of the time, as the majority was buying into the medical takeover. She had no background as a naturalist, nor was anyone in her family interested in the subject. But she did come from simpler times. We lived in affluent suburbs where the consciousness of such things was almost none. I feel very lucky that I was exposed to this type of empowerment so young.

As a young adult, I kept up that attitude because I hated the way the drugs made me feel. While I was in college I got bronchitis. The school doctor prescribed the usual antibiotics. I said the hell with them, and did a solid vitamin routine of C, D, E and A, along with plenty of sleep and taking it easy. I was better in three days. I heard, “But you can’t cure bronchitis without antibiotics!” Really? I just did. And it wasn’t all that hard.

Over the years I became immersed in modern society, trying to “make it.” I lost some of my empowerment due to some traumatic events. I developed chronic pelvic infections, mainly candida. Drugs did not work. Alternative methods worked a little. These infections continued for five years and I tried a lot of things. The candida diet made me lose 15 pounds on an already thin frame and didn’t cure the candida.. The problem was getting worse and I was scared. I didn’t know that these series of traumatic events had created a massive soul loss: a loss of empowerment, a loss of energy. So I embarked on a serious healing journey, and a problem that took many years to create, was healed in two years. I feel I am still on the path of healing, learning deeper and deeper what it means to have my power as a human being, to have my health, to be at one with Mother Earth and Father Sky.

THE ENERGETIC REALMS

Natural healing, or healing at all can be completely impossible if the caregiver does not understand the energetic realms. Everything is energy. We all know this, and yet we experience the physical as something different. That’s normal, and OK because otherwise we would not have the full experience here on Earth. But it’s good to keep in mind when trying to heal. Working with Mother Nature, its impossible not to tap into the energetic realms because all natural remedies carry an emotional and spiritual component. That’s where the power lies. That’s what the current medical industry has removed from its medicine. Or so we think. According to underground sources, the drugs have been infused with a negative emotional belief. Anyone who is sensitive can feel this negative emotional component.

And so this is a fundamental aspect of healing. To come back into empowerment, we must retrieve our energy, and foster our strength. Working in the paradigm of energy and of Earth, we can accomplish both in a short amount of time. We can communicate with all things: plants, trees, spirits, and our Higher Selves. But there is something different that happens when we surrender our energy to live in harmony with Mother Earth. We become real human beings. We are incurably happy. When our biology is aligned with the love of Mother Earth, life is good, life is rich, life is totally real and in the moment. All that we need is provided for: food, medicine, shelter and community. When we combine that with surrendering to the Divine Heavenly energy, we are expansive, universal and in complete peace. With these two things in place, we most definitely are healthy!

GIVING AWAY OUR POWER

It seems these companies and government organizations have taken the two fundamental things (Mother Earth and Father Sky) that allow for human happiness and health and tried to eradicate them from our lives. We are given a promise by the government and medical industry, whether on a conscious or unconscious level about needing them for our health. We become dependent. I’ve had great doctors, and I believe there is a lot more to the field of modern medicine besides this whole pile of garbage I am talking about. Nevertheless, the takeover of our health has happened.

I did a little research on the origins of antibiotics, mainly penicillin. Although I know this already, it still surprises me that it comes from something natural- a fungus. This fungus is grown in sterile vats, and exposed to a high stress environment, which produces an autoimmune response in the fungus called a secondary metabolite. It is this metabolite which is the medicine. Any herbalist knows of this method. So, the fundamental qualities of the antibiotic are somewhat in line with any natural medicine. What isn’t in line is the removal of the plant from its natural environment, the removal of any awareness of the plant itself as the medicine, the removal of a caregiver/doctor who understands the realms of emotion, energy and love, and the removal of the patient having this awareness as well. If you add on the financial interests of big pharma, and the possibility of a negative emotional program in each drug, well, are we even talking about healing anymore? No, we are talking about industry. These are two very different approaches with two very different agendas.

The result? Really strong medicine that somehow doesn’t work right. At best, the patient is cured of symptoms and they go on their merry way, assuming no other responsibility for their health. At worst, the drug creates another sickness which needs another drug. The two, three or four drugs are mixed together and the person dies. People have started to become like these drugs, they are raised inside, removed from their natural environment, waiting for someone else to tend to them, starving them of real nutrients so they can behave a certain way for someone else’s benefit, “No thank you,” I say.

YOU ARE THE MEDICINE

At a recent Level II training, with Wisdom of the Earth medicinal aromatherapy in Sedona, a local Havasupai elder, Uqualla came to speak to us one night. He masterfully channeled a group message that seemed to hit each one of us on the individual level. “You are the medicine,” he said. He went on to say that the plant medicine cannot truly be activated without the awareness that the healing comes from within each individual. This shift in perception is the most important step to reclaiming our health. Health is not something that is given to us any more than sickness. Taking responsibility for our bodies is not easy. It can mean lifestyle changes, diet changes, job changes, relationship changes. It means confronting our shadows and committing to growth. Most importantly it means choosing positive intention over negative. That means making decisions in your life based on the desire to be in the love paradigm. It doesn’t mean acting happy and loving all the time, it means choosing the path of love, dealing with unpleasant things in a real way and making healthier decisions that ultimately lift our consciousness.

This brings me to quote another indigenous medicine man from the Shuar Amazonian tribe of Ecuador, Anank Nunink Nunkai:

“When someone breaks their leg, we do not take them to the emergency room. We give them the sacred plant, tend to the wound a bit, then the spirits of the plant come in during the night and fix the leg. To westerners this might sound crazy, but to us this is normal.”

Actually, it sounds pretty great. I would take it over surgery! There is so much in this statement. This goes beyond faith to simply knowing. Each member of this healing team is taking full responsibility. If the patient were not in a state of total knowing that the plant medicine could work in this way, the healing could not be done. The tribe is also recognizing that the healing is not simply energy, it is the energy of the plant and both the physical and the energetic components must be present. The Ecuadorian shaman went on to talk about how plant medicine was a daily part of their lives. From the most mind altering to the most gentle. “In the west, you would call us addicts, but we are not addicts. We are living in harmony with Mother Earth and what she has to give us.”

The Wisdom of the Earth philosophy teaches us to form relationships with each plant. We learn to communicate with the plants so that we know which ones to choose for healing even if we do not know the science. I have found the strongest healings from this method. Why? Because it activates the patient’s awareness of their healing process, it gives them power, it gives them knowledge. The plant feels seen and respected and a friendship is formed.

TAKING BACK YOUR POWER

Taking back your power, is the same as reclaiming our bodies, reclaiming our health. The help that has been given to us by the medical industry is not enough. It removes the essential element of nature, emotions and spirit. It disempowers the patient. It only works on an aspect of the physical body. This just isn’t smart. We all have the power to heal ourselves, to work as communities to empower each other. To look in our backyards, the plants and trees, for what we need. If the drugs that we use are based on plant medicine, wouldn’t it behoove us to get to know the plants and trees again? We are in a pivotal moment. Companies like Monsanto are trying to control nature so they can have the power. But if, one by one, we claimed our power and reclaimed our connection to nature, this couldn’t be done. The conversation about stopping the big companies would be over, because we would be unstoppable with our own conviction.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

Pick three plants. Pick ones you have a personal connection with and grow them. If you live in a city, use pots and planters, or volunteer at a community garden. Ask spirit or your higher self what kind of plants you should grow. Make sure they are of organic origins. After you have picked them do a little research and see if you can actually grow them where you are! If you cant, then get to know what plants you can grow and pick one of those. It is important that you cultivate the plant and not just buy it in the store. In this way your relationship with them becomes the strongest. If you do this, you will find working with any high quality store bought product to be much more effective. Essential oils, when pure, are the strongest form of plant medicine because of the concentration and because they are applied to the skin, which has a higher absorption rate than the intestines. Healers, doctors, elders and other professionals are fundamental for your healing community, but ultimately understanding your body and what it takes for you to heal is what matters. There are a lot of ways to heal yourself, but I feel with the global health and food crisis we must work hand in hand with Nature again. We must take back our planet, our bodies and our power.
